“Pretty Average Park Albeit In A Great Location”

As London parks go the design and facilities in the park are pretty average. It does have a very good cafe with a nice outdoor seating area and the views at the end of the park of the barrier are wonderful. However, the rest of the park is frankly pretty average. It is a strange mix of formal and semi-natural that fails to either convince in terms of aesthetics or design and it could be made a lot more wildlife-friendly.

A green clean relaxing peaceful space. Honestly considering its in the east end of london its really good. A little on the small side nonetheless still good.

This is a nice park for your walk. There is a "sunken canal" with interesting plantings of hedges and flowers, although during my visit you could only get into this from the north side. There is a café that looked good, but I only had an ice-cream (which was good). The rest of the park is fairly flar alternating between lawns and meadow type vegetation.
Well worth a visit and also to come back to!
It is easy to get to, just across from Pontoon Dock DLR station.

Recently visited this park to see how they had transformed was once, quite frankly a dump. The park that was before me was a lovely tranquil place. It was quiet, nicely landscaped and has some good views.

Highly recommend the cafe, they sell an excellent cup of coffee at a reasonable price.

It is not overly big, you can walk round it in 20 minutes but it is worth taking your time and relaxing and taking in the views. The sunken garden is cleverly designed and well maintained.

Worth taking some time out to explore this park. It is easily accessed from Pontoon Dock DLR station, there is a walkway from the station directly into the park.

Visited this lovely park for first time in a while, had 3 excited children looking forward to running through the water fountains as we had done previously. Apparantly due to health and safety they are no longer turnrd on. What a shame the kids used to love it! Just thought id update as a scottish visitor I was talking to was told about the fountain erea to and its still mentioned on the official web site! Still a beautiful place to be but not quite as much fun as it could have been! Oh also you can only stop for 2 hours parking between 7am and 12 so if your'e going for day with kids take the train or arrive after 12.
