Description: Charlotte’s Bistro is an independently owned informal neighbourhood bar & restaurant. More daughter than sister to the longstanding Charlotte’s Place restaurant on Ealing Common, we first opened in 2010 on a mission to offer inventive drinks as well as the award winning food we were already famous for. We take great pride in sourcing high quality local produce and handle it with great care. From bread, stocks and ice creams in the kitchen, to purées, cordials and infusions on the bar, naturally we make them all. Working with only seasonal ingredients, about a third of our menu changes every month. PLEASE NOTE: Charlotte's Group is now an entirely cashless business. We accept payment by debit card, credit card, AMEX and Apple Pay.

Both me and my wife wanted to have a 'pit stop' whilst shooting through Chiswick and were delighted by the selection of Nibbles / Small plates available. We also chose to have a carafe of Picpoul to accompany and was presented with do much care and attention. The service is simply professional and diligent and the meet and greet from the front of house caring. Without doubt this is definitely one of those splendid finds that comes hugely recommended to anyone coming to Chiswick.

We had a lovely meal here with their early dinner deal. Great food and good value with three courses and any drink of your choice for £27 (ish, I think).

We also had some more wine, port, cheese and coffee which brought it up to just under £100 for the two of us.

Great food. Great service.

Live very close by and had been meaning to visit for a while. The 3 course dinner menu for £27.95 is an incredible deal, with choice from the full menu and the inclusion of a cocktail - which was one of the best I've had in a long time.

Perfect portions and well balanced flavours and seasoning along with great quality ingredients meant that some of the more unusual options were done very well - Chilled Watercress Soup, or Chocolate and Earl Grey Tarte for example.

The vegetarian options were particularly inspired, not just going for the obvious, and the menu changes every month meaning that there's encouragement to go back, even for me who often has one unchanging Penne Arrabiata or Mushroom Risotto..

To top it off the service was great, and we weren't made to feel rushed or second class because we were there for the early bird deal. The bar at the front was really busy all evening and would be a great place just to have a drink or a snack, and the range of gins is fab if you're into that sort of thing! Really lovely place where everyone seems to genuinely care about the food, ingredients and running a great little restaurant.

My wife and I had dinner here on Sunday. Not very busy, so it felt airy and spacious. We opted for a main course and a dessert. The Sunday roast was a very tender but tasty rib of beef with excellent vegetables including roast parsnip. The Yorkshire pudding was the only disappointment - dry and crumbly as if it had been kept warm since lunchtime. Rump of lamb very good, though the accompanying Jersey Royal potatoes were rather overcooked. Puddings excellent - lemon meringue pie in a novel presentation, and a chocolate and Earl Grey tart and brown sugar ice cream. An excellent Cahors (Malbec) for £28, the 4th cheapest red on their rather expensive wine list. Service efficient and friendly. Not cheap, but overall an impressive and enjoyable dinner.
