Great location for London break. Rooms clean, comfortable and great value. Bar and food service 24 hours. Staff very friendly and helpful and 12 noon check out time. Only downside is unable to book into room til 2 pm however, can pay £10 per room for early check in so if you need to dump your bags this is ok.

Quick to get to from Waterloo station, only a couple of minutes walk so central to everything.

Definitely will stay again. You can be certain of the service and room standard you will get. Have paid much more for London stays in some posh hotels but room has been disappointing. You don't get that here. Bed was lovely and comfortable.

Excellent quality/price ratio!!!
Ideal if you are planning visiting London for leisure and not staying all day in hotel.

Only one con for this hotel:
Even though the calefaction was turned off, the room was too warm!!!. My Husband and I had to sleep with the window open.

Stayed for two nights. Quick check in. Room clean, but felt empty - large space in the room, felt like a sofa should have been there or something? But other rooms didnt have one either. Just looks a bit odd. Bathroom clean. No hairdryer... and no phone in room to ask for hairdryer to be brought up. Frustrating when youve just come out of the shower and discovered there isnt one, its a basic thing to provide?? Close to all the tourist things. So great for location. Would stay again.

Stayed here for two nights & I must say it was spotlessly clean throughout. The only downside was that the rooms were far too hot & stuffy. OK there was a fan in our room, but it did nothing, we could only open the window a little as it had been restricted, I understand this would be due to H&S reasons, but there was just no air in the room. We couldn’t wait to get out, it was a case of once we’d showered we’d have to get out of the room as quick as possible otherwise we’d get so hot again, we would need another shower!!!

Our evening meal was very nice & so was breakfast, the only negative comment I can say about breakfast was that they kept running out of cutlery.

All in all we had a very pleasant stay, so would recommend it to friends & family & would certainly stay there again………….but it would have to be in winter!!!

Room Tip: Get one with air conditioning if they have one

The reason for our visit was our wedding anniversary. We arrived in London and got a taxi to the hotel. The staff were very polite and very helpful. the room was what we had expected as we have stayed in a few of the travelodge hotels before. We had a trip on the London Eye and then a champagne cruise on the Thames.
We had a evening meal on our first day and a breakfast the following day and were not disappointed on either occasion. The prices for the evening meal was very reasonable as were the drinks at the bar.
The price for the breakfast was very reasonable as it was a all you can eat buffet breakfast.
Next time we plan to go to central London, Travelodge is where we will be staying.

The location of this Travelodge is excellent being only 5 minutes walk from from Waterloo station. There is a lot of good places to eat and some great pubs as well.

The staff at the hotel were efficient and polite and dealt with us quickly on arrival. We didn't eat at the hotel or use the bar so I can't comment on those.

The room was clean and equipped as expected for a Travelodge. The only complait was the heat of the room and no air conditioning to deal with it. Others in our party had a fan and they had a more comfortable night.

Overall a good find.

Worked late and when I checked in gone 9pm only rooms on the top floor where left. Room VERY hot and window had a security fastening that only allowed it to open a little bit. I went straight back to reception for a different room - the knew of the issue, said they had put a fan in the room but only top floor rooms left. By this time the outside temperature was much lower than the room

Basically I had paid a high £188 for a very poor night's sleep even though the bed itself was good. Personally I promised myself to never stay here again
