“Great value and location”
Reviewed January 24, 2013 via mobile

I recently stayed for two nights at this hotel when travelling for work. It is very conveniently located, approx 5 mins from Kings Cross and close to the amenities of Bloomsbury. It is situated in a charming terrace, largely made up of other hotels and serviced apartments.

I was surprisingly pleased by the hotel, although I had a single room (104) which was very small, this suited me fine as I only needed it to sleep in etc. the ensuite bathroom was again very small but had obviously been redecorated in a modern style very recently. Considering the hotel is in the same price bracket as nearby travelodges I would much rather stay here.

The rooms are small but comfortable, check in was easy and the staff were friendly. Great location. Definitely suitable for a short business stay. Breakfast was nice and I went to the restaurant early and they were happy to serve me, even though they weren't open yet.

This hotel is definitely getting more points for it's great location in London, I'd stay there again next time I visit London.

Get a double room as I imagine the single rooms are teeny tiny!

I made a last minute booking at the hotel to try and avoid problems travelling up to London from Brighton as there were proposed train cancellations due to the snow and as it was imperative I caught my Eurostar train the following morning I decided to set off a day early to be as close to St Pancras Station as possible.
I was a little apprehensive as to what the hotel would be like and its surroundings as it is near Kings Cross, but I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is situated in a Georgian Terrace and is really clean and professionally run.
I made the booking via Booking.com for a single room - when I arrived I was upgraded to a triple room. The rooms are small but extremely clean and the bed was really comfortable (I had a great nights sleep - so much so I found it so hard to get up I missed breakfast (which is included in the price of the room)
I would definitely return - its in a great location for St Pancras.

I've stayed at this hotel a couple of times. The rooms are small but newly decorated, with a nicely contemporary feel to them. There's not much space, and no desk, but fine for a short stay. The rooms at the front are very quiet, but the room I had at the back was near some noisy ventilation fans. Fine if the windows are closed but could be annoying if they're open.

The heating/cooling is all done through the air conditioning system which is quiet but rather too efficient - on a very cold night it was difficult to find a setting that didn't leave the room stiflingly hot, although I managed it in the end. In one room the shower was pretty good, but in the other it was rather feeble.

There's a breakfast room in the basement with a small but decent breakfast selection, including a cooked breakfast. The staff I dealt with were all helpful and friendly.

The location is excellent - on a quite crescent in Bloomsbury, less than a 10 minute walk from the Eurostar terminus at St Pancras, and a pleasant half-hour walk to the West End. The rooms may be cramped, and the heating a bit iffy, but the place is clean and comfortable, and the prices are very reasonable. I've stayed in several nearby hotels in the same price range and this is easily the best; I'll certainly stay there again.

Room Tip: I would avoid the ground floor and basement rooms, and ironically those on the street at the front a...

Perfect place to stay if your needing to be close the St Pancras Train sation for the Eurostar.
This hotel is right in the middle between Euston and St Pancras stations. The rooms are lovely and clean. The breakfast is great and good value. I would certainly stay here again and recommend to my friends.

Difficult to understand the receptionist on arrival but that is not uncommon!! I would not want to stay for more than one night as the rooms are tiny but you have to have a sense of humour. Not quite value for money as breakfast is pretty ordinary and please get some good bread for your toast!!

Good location, fine hotel and great staff.

Clean and airy, with good views from my windows of a quiet park, the staff are friendly and one in particular went out of his way to be engaged,
The breakfast was just fine, and I am not sure what was irking the fellow who complained about the coffee on January 1st, but WE thought it was good.
moreover, all the other guests were smiling. And the location a ten minute walk from St Pancras can't be beat. With two short stops at Decent pubs on the way. I travel 200 days a year and The Judd would be Judstifed

Room Tip: Front rooms look on to a park.
