Superb location, just 2-min walk from Kennington underground which is close to most of the attractions. The area is comfortable, safe and there are a few great restaurants nearby. The room is spotlessly clean. My husband and I stayed in Room 6 facing the garden. It's very quiet and we had very nice sleep for all 6 nights. The breakfast is excellent......i like the fresh fruit the most!!Sian and Inga are very nice and helpful!!! We enjoyed our stay there very much. Highly recommend this place to people who are going to travel in London!!!

Room Tip: Room 6 is fantastic!!!

Our family of four were welcomed withe breakfast at the Kennington B&B as we arrived feeling very tired and worn-out from our flight from Boston. The rooms were comfortable and the location just couldn't be better. We forgot something at the B&B and the owner was incredibly kind to bring it to us as we travelled back through London on the way home. Highly recommended for families- breakfast was lovely and the garden out the back provided a respite from the hectic pace of London.

Room Tip: Rooms that are not on the street side may be a bit more quiet in the summer when windows are open.

Me and my new husband stayed here the night before and the night after our wedding. Lovely interior and decor, pity there wasn't an en suite in our room though as we had to travel downstairs and along the corridor to the bathroom which, as it was January, was freezing cold!

As we were staying two nights and needed two rooms, the owner was so kind as to give us one of the rooms on one night free of charge which really helped us out as we were there for my wedding! Also when we got back to the B&B the night of our wedding the owner had left a bottle of champagne and some flowers in our room! This was such a lovely touch and really made our day just that little bit more special!

Rooms were very spacious! Ours had a little sitting room in there with a sofa and television.

Breakfast was very plain and not much to choose from however the house maid was the lovliest woman I have ever met, so happy and smiling! Really made my morning.

I really would recommend this B&B to those visiting London as its not right at the centre so not very busy, but is literally a stones throw away from the tube station!

Overall had a lovely stay! Room and facilities all very clean and hygienic. Would stay again, maybe for one year anniversary!

Room Tip: Choose a room on the upper level as rooms on lower level have to share downstairs bathroom.

Our family of four really enjoyed staying here for numerous reasons. 1) Ideal location. You can't beat the half block walk to the tube station. We always felt safe in this neighborhood outside the hustle bustle that offered a decent selection of dining options when we were too tired to make the trek elsewhere. 2) The rooms. We got the entire top floor--we parents in the street side room, our two kids in the rear room that had its own balcony, and our own bathroom. Despite public stairs leading into our quarters, we all slept safely with our bedroom doors left open in case the kids needed us. 3) The people: Sian, the owner is wonderful; a great, funny mom who is easy to chat with and can offer helpful information for what a family should do/see in her amazing city. We also enjoyed the breakfast caretaker. Though we never got her name, my children will always remember her generous spirit as she took time from her duties to make them origami creatures, which they made sure to bring home with them. Thank you Kennington B&B for giving us a comfortable home base for exploring our new favorite city in the world!

We went with family 2 adults and 2 kids (13, 16) to Kennington B&B in London. In the direct neighborhood of tube, buses, a 24h supermarket, and close to Westminster and other touristic areas. But what made the stay unforgettable was the house itself and the hospitality of the owners and the staff. All was very clean, looked like new; rooms were very proper, breakfast was good; owners and staff very helpful also with travel tips and so on. Would recommend to anyone. Thanks for hospitality!

Room Tip: Stairs only so if having problems with walking, choose a lower room.

This place is a little gem, conveniently situated near the Tube and we will certainly consider it again when we visit London. Ingrid was very helpful and made us most welcome. My daughter and I only stayed one night, but we wished we could have stayed longer! Would recommend the top floor as we had fantastic views over London from our balcony and the breakfast was superb.

Only too happy to recommend this great B&B, we will certainly consider using it again when next in London. Perfectly placed for travelling in and around the City thanks to its very close proximity to the tube station. Lovely comfortable bedroom and probably the best shower we have ever had in a hotel/B&B! Due to Local Authority Laws and English Heritage, signage is not allowed so we did actually walk past it at first and had to turn around and re-check the address. You can help yourself to a variety of teas & coffee any time of day and night in the breakfast room and there is a good selection for a buffet breakfast. Many thanks to Sian and Inga.
