“Really excellent tour - even for non football fans!”
Reviewed October 22, 2012

We went with an eleven year old Arsenal fanatic, as a birthday treat (for him not us!)
We are not football fans in any way, but wholly enjoyed the day.

I booked the ticket on line from the Arsenal website. Easy. You can use the ticket on any day the tour operates (non match days).

We turned up at around 10.30am on a Saturday morning and were given an audio / video device and headset. The tour is self guided, just follow the instructions. There are staff around the place to keep an eye on everyone, to answer questions and help if the devices aren't working properly!

You get to walk all around the stadium at your own pace. You get to see the changing rooms, the tunnel, the pitch, Director's box, press rooms etc. You can take as many photos as you like. The tour wasn't busy - we came across at most around 10 people wandering round at their own pace.
The audio device gives interesting facts and video clips as you go. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly.

Arsenal fans will love it. We loved the stadium architecture, atmosphere and the fact that the eleven year old was absolutely chuffed!
We left our camera behind at one point and went back to reception some time later to see if it had been handed in. The staff knew straight away what we were there for hand handed it over - they recognised us.
There is a musem that is also free with the tour ticket. It is moderately interesting - I guess you have to be a real fan to enjoy that!

There is of course the Arsenal shop too....

We spent over 2 hours and it was definitely well worth it. It's easy to get to on the tube too - 15mins from Kings Cross.

“Impressive stadium, nice museum”
Reviewed October 21, 2012

I visited together with my son the museum and the stadium. The museum showed the history and the highlights of the club. For the tour a video walkman was handed out which resulted in an informative tour.

“Terrible ground!”
Reviewed October 21, 2012 via mobile

This has to be one of the worst grounds in the premiership. Stadium looks lovely from outside but is quite poor inside, cramped poor seating and views and no atmosphere. Far too many prawn brigade at arsenal but was never this bad at highbury. For real atmosphere and better down to earth fans go to white hart lane or fulham instead of this plastic pretend stadium which has priced the true gunners fans out of watching them very poor
