“Excellent value for money, home cooked food away from home”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 17, 2013

As expected from the other review, Mamuska is exactly what it says on the tin. Great home cooked food away from home.... washed down with Polish beer.

Dont let the run down E&C Shopping Centre put you off from trying it!

“Sheep, cheerful and cozy!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 11, 2013

Fast service, and food that brings you 'home' to Poland! Very cheerful canteen style service. The owners obviously focused on good food, rather and general branding, and man is the food generous and good!!

“Cheap and tasty”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 9, 2013 via mobile

Having heard rave reviews from a friend, I took the plunge and organised a get together dinner with friends. The restaurant is in a shopping mall in Elephant and Castle but don't let that put you off.
Ok, service is basic and sort of reminds me of the restaurant in ikea. But the food is a real bargain as is the beer.
The pierogi were ok and skin a little too thick for my liking but the potato pancake with goulash was ace as was the hunters stew. Best of all they were only £5 each.
One word of advice, sit near the front as it can be quite difficult to hear your ticket number being called.

“Excellent Milk Bar”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 20, 2013

I would recommend this place to anyone that works, studies or live sin the area.
I have worked in the area the food here is better quality and cheaper than the subsidised canteen that was my other option/ Even the £1 coffee is brilliant quality.
I will be very honest I am a big fan of milk bars and make use of them a lot when in Krakow but this is an exceptional milk bar.
The food is good and healthy and home made and the soups change on a daily basis.
The only downside is that they are a bit too small for how good and popular they are and sometimes it may be difficult to sit down. However this only proves to show how good the food is.

“Good food, incredible value”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 19, 2013 via mobile

The location in the middle of the Elephant & Castle shopping centre is unusual. But get over that and you'll find a bustling cafe-canteen serving great value polish food. Starters are £3, and mains £5. There are no corners cut on the food front - all well source, and well prepared in a home cooked style. How do they keep prices so low? You may have to share a table and you're expected to fetch your own food and clear your table but that adds to the experience. Well worth a visit. Free wifi. Follow @mamuska_net on Twitter. Open 7am - 11pm Mon to Sat, 9am on Sunday.
