Description: The Bolton is right in the heart of Kensington, meaning we've got our finger on the pulse of everything rushing by - but we also provide a comfortable haven for you to gather together and enjoy a few drinks from our superb range. Good hospitality has always been a cornerstone of our pub on Earls Court Road, which was built in 1892 as The Bolton Hotel - and our original features include a double-height ceiling and snug fireplace, as well as a function room for parties. We're ideally located for trips to Earls Court exhibition centre, the Natural History Museum and Chelsea Football Ground. So how about lunch or dinner after a few hours of exploring?

“Good food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 5, 2014

I had the Salmon with ratatouille which arrived after 20 minutes. The food looked presentable and the salmon was cooked nicely but I wouldn't really call that a ratatouille. The sauce was very thin and the vegetables were cheap.I had a pint of Coke to drink. Total meal cost was £12.20 which is a fair value. Service was good, music was pretty loud (I was there around 9:30pm on a saturday so that may explain it).

“If You Want Wait Staff Service, This Is NOT The Place”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 3, 2014 via mobile

This is a great sports-type pub, and the food was really good. We all had different things, and all were nicely done. However, you need to order your food and drinks at the bar, pay for them, and then someone will bring them over. I get why they do this, but after a long day of hiking around London, it would have been nice to have someone take our order. Friendly people and great food and drink. They just need to go that extra step. Good value ... I'll say that.

“Great value & decent burgers!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 22, 2013 via mobile

Enjoyed the £5 burger deal on Monday night. Great tasting barbecue burgers, really meaty and served with tasty fries. Definitely worth a visit.

Friendly staff, unfortunately not so knowledgeable on the whisky front but you can't have everything.
