I had read a review in The Week and thought let’s give it a try. We booked on the day, table for three, by email as phone was not answered, but we got a reply within minutes. They called us around 3pm to check if we were still coming, which we appreciated as well, but also understandable as they were fully booked.

The layout of the restaurant is nice. They have some round tables, which are perfect for three people to eat. The restaurant is not big, but very cosy. The gentlemen serving are very attentive, very knowledgeable and very friendly.

The non-filtered beer and the Gavi house wine were very nice. We had starters, main and desserts. Everything was delicious.

The toilets/bathrooms are very clean and they have separate for male / female customers.

It was a delight eating here and we will be back, even though we don’t live nearby!

We tried this restaurant for the first time. Menu was original, we chose two different starters, main dish and dessert. We were pleased with the taste, the presentation and the quantity.
Excellent and knowledgeable service. A hidden gem in London

So the food might not be as precise as Odettes but then you don't get the stroppy arrogant, up itself service. As for Lemonia that place is a joke, way passed its sell-by-date. Lume is certainly the best place to eat in Primrose Hill.

I really can't rate this place highly enough. This is the kind of neighbourhood restaurant you dream of. Great food at a decent price served up by people who seem to really care that you are having a good time.

An Italian restaurant and wine bar / wine shop (with an emphasis on Sicilian and Sardinian flavours) near Primrose Hill. The atmosphere and service are charming. The menu is innovative and the food generally good: our starters were better than our main courses and desserts, and portion sizes are quite small. The selection of wines is a highlight: some customers come just to drink a glass. Well worth a try.
