The Presana hotel is brand new. Having only been open for a few weeks, everything is modern, clean and well maintained. The lighting in our spacious room was particularly stylish, including cool blue LED lighting in the bathroom. The bed was large and comfortable, and we had a handy chez lounge which was nice to relax on while looking out of the huge picture window towards Battersea Park.

Our only criticism of the room was that it had a window between the bathroom and the bedroom. This was covered by a venetian blind to provide some privacy in the bathroom, but the blind was controlled from the bedroom. We could only imagine that this was been designed with potential comedy value in mind, but the humour wears thin on toilet dwellers after the first few exposures.

The hotel’s distance from a tube station initially seemed to be a problem, until we discovered that the frequent bus services along the main road outside the hotel quickly get you to either Slone Square or Victoria underground stations. A handy tip is that there is a convenience store in the complex which sells London Transport travel cards (surely the greatest bargain to be had in the city). Follow the small sign to the Piazza, up some steps to the right, as you leave the hotel (see photograph).

Breakfast in the hotel was very good, with a wide choice available, and friendly staff, though they did seem to be on the limit of coping at times.

We were confused by the wifi arrangements in the hotel. The information provided in the room said that it was free in public areas, charged at £5 per hour in guest rooms, and that free internet access was available in the hotel’s business centre. It turned out that there is no business centre at the moment, and that you need to get wifi login details from the reception desk. These are printed on a slip, with a seemingly random charge specified on it. We were concerned that these charges would be added to our bill, but we were relieved to find that they were not when we checked out. We are still not sure how the system was supposed to work, but as we were not charged, we were happy. Hopefully it is an issue that will be resolved once the hotel’s opening phase has been completed.

We had a look around the hotel’s spa and pool, which are small but very pleasant. The lack of changing rooms means that guests have to change in their rooms, and then use the lift to get to the spa. Partly due to a lack of time and partly because we did not feel comfortable mixing with guests in the lift while wearing our bathrobes, we did not use the spa facilities during our stay.

Overall we would definitely recommend the Presana, particularly if you can get a room at the current discounted rate. Its location is not as convenient as some London hotels that we have stayed in, being a bus ride away from an underground station, but that was not much of an issue, and we would certainly be happy to stay there again.

I have stayed in quite a few hotels but never once came home and couldn't wait to write a review! I booked this hotel as a suprise for my boyfriend, and a bit of a gamble i must say as it was a brand new hotel with no photo's and no reviews but right near the restaurant i had booked. First of all the hotel was very easy to find, which is a bonus in London. We walked into the Hotel reception and was greeted by a very warm and friendly receptionist by the name of Nelson. After a bit of friendly banter while Nelson was checking us in he kindly told us he'd upgraded us to a suite, wow what i result! I'd never stayed in a suite before so was extremely excited! When we walked into our room, the word that both came out of ours mouths was WOW!! A clean, stylish and very modern sitting room greated us. White Leather sofa's, chairs and walls! Our suite consisted of a well equipped bathroom, which included a double shower!! A stunning sitting room, a very good size bedroom with a kingsize bed and a en-suite! Now if its a quiet night in your after look no further there was a TV in the sitting room, a TV in the bedroom and even a TV in the bath!!!! Both being coffee lovers we were very pleased to find our very own coffee machine complete with instructions, luckily, but very easy to use!
Just before going out for our meal my boyfriend realised he hadn't brought a belt and cufflinks with him for his suit, giggling about it as we headed downstairs we mentioned it to Nelson and to our suprise he very kindly said "here have mine!" and gave him his belt. Now thats what i call service!! For our meal we went to Santa Maria Del sur (from the f word) and it lived up to our expectations so if your ever in that area you have to try the restaurant. The next moring we went down for breakfast. There was a choice of full english, fresh fruits and yoghurt, cerials and some pastries, very delicious! When checking out we mentioned about going to do some exploring in London, Nelson was very helpful and gave us a map and information on the trains and buses. Overall the service was fantastic, thank you very much to Nelson! The rooms and hotel was superb and the location is great if you wish to tour chealsea, oxford street and the many other tourist attractions London has to offer!
My only slight niggle being was the pillows, as they were rather soft, so a choice of pillows would of been nice but im sure if i would have rang reception they could have arranged that!
If you ever want to stay in London i would recommend this hotel over and over again!!! Oh and parking was right next door and only cost £4 sat til sun.

My wife and I spent 3 nights at this hotel when we went to London to see the sights and go to Paulo Nutini concert at Royal Albert Hall.

The hotel is fabulous beautiful room, lovely bar and restaurant and the most helpful and friendly staff ever.

We are not in our first flush of youth ( 60+) and we got back in after 11.00 pm from Paulo concert to find no bar food being served the young barmen offered to go to the kitchen and get us some tapas of bread olives and cheese..so so helpful.

Lovely small spa which i had all to myself in the mornings.

We ate only once in the restaurant and it was first class.

Will be back its heaven.

I booked this hotel as I spent 3 days in London with my tennage son and therefore needed somewhere central but with a pool as well. The location whilst just over Chelsea Bridge provided easy access to Chelsea and also Victoria (Bus 137 or 44 both outside the door). The hotel was superb (and I have stayed in a number of hotels on business over the years). After reading other reviews, I requested a room on the courtyard side just to be safe (trainline on the other side) and was more than happy with the standard and quality of the room (Room 220). The pool and spa facilites were of a high quality and the staff more than eager to help. The room rate was excellent for Central London at £99 for the room (Booking.com) but breakfast was not included and at £38 for the 2 of us felt expensive, especially as tennage boys can sometimes pick at food (sorted breakfast out independently).

Battersea park is just over the road so nice to get out of the bustle of London.

Have no complaints and would strongly recommend hotel.

Stayed here for 2 nights over my birthday weekend and was pleasantly surprised as we only paid £54 pppn! The check in procedure was quick and the staff friendly.
My room was large, with a huge confortable bed, very clean and modern with a lovely bathroom - the shower was fantastic!
Location not a problem if your prepared to walk 5 mins to Sloane Square - although the station was closed for repair when we were there so we jumped in a cab to Victoria - about £6.
Overall a fantastic hotel, would definately go back!
