“good value and great food”
Reviewed January 26, 2011

great location if you are needing to be based in Westminster, but also easy to get around all of London from here. Bar and resteraunts inside are good and the room service is impressive. Rooms are well layed out and bathrooms are a good size. Can be a little dark and could do iwth more lighting. Amazing views of Westminster

This is a new facility with all a traveler could wish for in a hotel. The hotel is located at Westminster Bridge and has a spectacular view of the Parliament and the Tower of Big Ben. The hotel decor is sleek and modern - a bit dark and chilly in atmosphere. However, the rooms have everything and more for a traveler. There is a lounge area with sofa and tv, a large bathroom with shower and tub, a nice sleeping area with a tv and a small wetbar area with fridge, microwave and dishes. You do not need a current adapter since the desk has a power panel with US current. There was a safe in the closet. A hairdryer was provided. The rooms are very guiet; we were unaware of anybody else on the floor. The hotel was busy because we saw lots of people at breakfast everyday and on Sunday the hotel ballrooms were used for the breakfast overflow. The breakfast was a little expensive, but it was bountiful and good quality. The hotel has a business center with computers for guest use, so we were able to print our boarding passes for the flight home. The hotel is located near two tube stations and several bus stops. The London Eye is a short walk from the hotel, so we rode it on a Sunday afternoon.

Nice had a great stay, Nice new rooms, Daily full english breakfast buffet, was served in ballroom as hotel was booked New Years Eve weekend. Rest had a long wait.
Great location step outside to big ben, took the hop on/off bus from bridge to see rest of the city. rental van was of no use as bus was good and short walk to lot of things around westminster . only issue we had is that our room was an inside room first night with no view, but they changed the room next day with a view of the park inn hotel next door which was a litte better, did not care for the open shower.

My partner and I stayed here Saturday night (22nd January 2011) for his birthday. From the outset, it was stress-free, impressive, but without any pretetion. Check-in staff were most helpful and arranged for us to have access to our room early (9am as opposed to the official check in time). Knowing it was my partner's birthday, the hotel arranged, during the day, for a birthday cake to be delivered to our room..so we returned in the evening to that surprise - and it was good too, rich chocolate cake enough for 4! What a lovely touch from the hotel. The room itself was an iconic view, on the 9th floor, looking straight down on Westminster bridge, with full view of Big Ben tower and houses of parliament, spectacular at night with the floor to celing glass!! And all this for £200 incl VAT, when other, supposedly 5 start hotels charge so much more, for so much less! I stayed at The Mayfair a year ago, and it was hugely disappointing, extremely basic, and they didn't take the opportunity to fix it for me, I also stayed a Le Meridien Piccadilly, and whilst ok, overpriced for what you get. Whereas the PP Westminster is brand new, very clean and fresh, room fab, bathroom fab, with a good sized bath as well as shower (quite often its just a shower), very comfortable bed, and good air con, and even a microwave, pretty useful. They also supplied a bottle of water, again, a nice little touch. And room service was very efficient. Very central location, ideal for a weekend stay, just around the corner from the South Bank...we loved it and would definitely recommend it to anyone. What a pleasant change!

Stayed here for one night on a weekend break. We were upgraded on arrival to a studio king room which was nice. The hotel is ultra modern and the rooms clean and comfortable. We paid a bit extra to have use of the executive lounge which has a great view but thats about it. Afternoon tea consisted of stale sandwiches (ham or cucumber) stale cakes and tea from a machine. Breakfast was mediocre with little choice, more stale bread and drinks from the machine. However the location is great. Next to Westminster bridge, two tube stations within 5 minutes walk and views of Big Ben. Live music in the bar was a bonus although many of the table were "reserved" although nobody sat there for the hour or so we were in there. This is a popular business and conference hotel which is also used by Airline crew so tourists like us were in the minority. Overall a pleasant experience but don't bother with the executive lounge.

I was lucky enough to be upgraded to a suite with an "ok" view and the service I received was excellent overall. I had done some research online and I had found this hotel at a bargain price for such a central location so I have to rate this hotel very highly!
I had some food at the hotel as well, which wasn't the cheapest, but it was delicious. I will dedfinitely stay here again when I am in London!

I stayed here on 1st January for 2 nights with my boyfriend. Unfortunately couldnt stay new years eve i booked slightly late there was no availability.
I have stayed at many of London's 4* and 5* hotels and i definately have to rank this as my number 1.

Since visiting no other hotel in London can compete with this hotel.
From the moment we arrived we were met at our taxi by a porter who welcomed us to the hotel and had our bags checked in for us. I have had this treatment abroad many times but never in the UK! Not even in the well established 5* hotels London has to offer.

At Check-in staff were absolutely brilliant, friendly, efficient and welcoming.
We were given a complimentary upgrade to a Suite and as we were staying 2 nights we made the most of this!

Location - Beautiful location views across westminster, big ben and close to most London attractions.

We ordered room service which was of 5* quality and the portions were very generous.
The micowave in the room was a very big hit as you could get a few snacks from the shop opposite the hotel if Room Service is a little pricey.

Rooms - Our Studio room was very spacious, decorated tastefully and the bathroom was very spacious too. Unfortunately we did not take any photos :(
We had seperate bedroom area with 42" TV and seperate Living Area with another 42" TV!!!

Breakfast Buffet was tasty and choice was very good with selection of cooked english breakfast and continental breakfast.

The one thing that i would say makes this hotel stand out from the others in London is the service. Every time we made a call to reception they answered with my name - very polite and they went out of their way to accommodate your needs.

Will definately be staying here again but on special occasions as is quite pricey but definately worth it!!
