Pro's - Great location for Wimbledon station - 5 mins walk away. Reception very friendly & has parking ok. Rooms clean with tea / coffee provided. Wifi in room (though slow)

Con's - Room 11 - single room. Small but passable, Squeaky bed. Outside noise from main road. Heating is radiator - but does not stay on all night so cold in the morning. Weak electric shower & not hot. Lots of stairs.

Paid a little extra for en-suite but for the price would expect a little better maybe in other areas

The hotel is reasonably priced for the area and the location is excellent (just five minutes walk from Wimbledon station).

I stayed in a single room next to the reception (room 15) and it was small. There was also quite a bit of noise from all the comings and goings of the reception (guests, workmen etc.). To be fair I don't see what the hotel can do about this, but you might want to avoid this room if you're a light sleeper.

The breakfast was good and the wifi was free and very fast.

So overall I'd rate the hotel positively, but not for a long stay where you'd want to spread out and have some space.

Room Tip: Room 15 is next to reception and is therefore easy to get to, but light sleepers should avoid it.

This is a family run B&B advertising as an hotel. Breakfast is ok, but the waitress is apt to misunderstand your order. The 'hotel' does not serve evening meals so you'll have to traipse into Wimbledon for that.

Noise can be a problem. The layout means that occupants of some rooms get disturbed at night by people coming and going, snoring and so on.

As this isn't a hotel you can't just walk in. You have to ring the bell and hope there's someone about to let you in. Sometimes there isn't.

On the plus side, this is well positioned if you want to visit Wimbledon town (not the tennis as that's a fair distance away, all uphill). Good for a one night stay.

Were visiting the area for Lady Gaga Concert in Twickenham. Needed a family room for 3. Could not get ANY room under £400 for 1 night near the statium so when this one came up last minute on laterooms.com though worth trying for £100 for the night. and within the train route from the stadium. Hotel was very clean, typical country english hotel. friendly staff, clean room. Our room was opposite reception on the ground floor so we hear every conversation from 7am. Workmen were doing building work from 7am in the morning and sat outside our room having tea at 7:30am... Cheap and cheerful... easy enough location for Twickenham.

Room Tip: If you want typical English hotel, ( near London) reasonable price... handy for train station this would be fine!
