A nice theatre, well located. Try to get seats near the front of the dress and upper circles, or stalls as the auditorium feels very spread out and muc laser than it actually is. Saw the Mystery of Dickens which was excellent. £30 for 6 drinks, but a very small bar and limited space to sit. Would recommend walking round the corner to the many many bars in the side streets, most of which are good.

Went to see Dreamcoats and Petticoats as part of a weeding present bought for us by our friends. Very intimate and friendly venue, welcoming staff, got upgraded and thoroughly enjoyed listening to music from the early 60s [as we are old enough to remember it]. Easy listening and very professional performance. Recommended for genuine lighthearted and enjoyable entertainment.

Had such a fantastic evening at the Playhouse Theatre.
The show was fab and everyone in our party of 12 had a great time singing along and having a boogie.
The theatre is lovely and I spent most of the interval looking up at the gorgeous detail on the ceiling.
Great theatre, great show - go see it!

Went to see Petticoats and Dreamboats matinee performance with a party of 30 yesterday. 3/4 of our party have a disability and as such have special needs. We had made arrangements with the theatre as they were able to accomodate 2 people in wheelchairs and another 6 people who could transfer from their wheelchairs. We had been given a number of aisle seats in the same area, so that our party could enjoy the show together. Although it took a long time to seat us and remove wheelchairs to a short distance away the theatre manager and his staff were on hand to assist. A big thank-you as not all venues are so obliging. As we were close to the stage a number of our visually impaired users were still able to enjoy the wonderful visual spectacles of the show. In addition as its a small intimate theatre our users who are blind were able to enjoy the exciting atmosphere as the acoustics are great.
Des Oconnor was a real treat and still has a great voice. We sang along to all the songs and all had a brilliant time. At the end of the show are wheelchairs were dutifully returned and we used the disabled toilets just on the same floor. The ramp was laid and a lovely staff member helped us to negotiate some of our more cumbersome wheelchairs down the ramp to our waiting minibuses which had been able to park right outside the venue. All at Greenwich Disability Service would like to say a big THANKYOU to the staff and cast at the playhouse. We had a great time and really enjoyed a brilliant show

We`ll all be going back again, It`s a fantastic Show, It really Leaves you with a Great Feeling. Some of the best 60`s music, theres not one bad song, Money well spent.
