“Classic British food”
Reviewed February 3, 2013

Great Friday night here. Sat in the quieter area away from the dining room which was perfect for the evening. By no means an extensive menu but all perfectly executed, including the Lancashire Cheese and Onion tart. Good fish and chips and the trout was probably the standout for our table. Didn't need the second bottle of New Zealand pinot noir, but it was good!

“Warm and inviting atmosphere”
Reviewed February 2, 2013

From booking the table to the end and gathering our coats, the service was warm and professional and unintrusive. We had steak bearnaise, pear and blue cheese salad and spinach. It was all cooked to perfection and the steak had a wonderful flavour. For dessert, we shared the chocolate fondant with clementine icecream. Again, this did not disappoint. I would recommend this place highly.

“lovely bar and restaurant in the centre of Soho”
Reviewed January 25, 2013

This is a fabulous bar and restaurant in the centre of Soho. The staff are friendly and the food is excellent. They also do a great breakfast/brunch.
Its a great place to sit at the bar if you are meeting people as its not too crowded and you don't feel out of place.
It does get busy so reserve a table in the evening.

“Lovely, atmospheric place”
Reviewed January 24, 2013

This restaurant is subject to some differing views. We had a lovely time. Exceptionally comfortable seats, excellent and attentive ( not overly so ) service and very good food - some dishes excellent. The whole experience was highly enjoyable and would definitely come again.

“Amazing Food and Service.”
Reviewed January 23, 2013

We went to Dean Street Townhouse over the Christmas period for dinner and had a wonderful experience. We couldn't fault the food or the service and the staff were particularly helpful in recommending dishes. My boyfriend ordered the chicken pie (which was lovely) and went to order some mash to go on the side but the waiter kindly pointed out that the pie would be enough on its own. This may be a small point to some people but I think it's rare to get this kind of service in restaurants these days. Normally they just want to sell you as much as possible. They also offer a set pre-theatre menu which was really good value.

Great food great service!
