A group of 20 of us went to Chelsea Kitchen last night. Perfect place for a relaxed evening with friends! Was so surprised with the value for money.... After all no where is cheap to eat in Fulham!!! Service was excellent staff friendly and helpful. Food good quality wholesome .......amazing find.

“Poor performance overall...”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 25, 2012 via mobile

Went there the four of us as we were starving and that was the first restaurant found in front of us.

Anyway, we had 3 carbonaras (tasty but small portion),
1 cheeseburger (extremely small),
1 chicken salad (seemed like it was purchased from Tesco) and
3 Peroni (this is the only beer the serve)
and we paid 44 pounds.

Service was not good (except one young guy who was very kind).
The owner (I think - 65 - 70 years old Italian guy) was rude, and he was like a) too bored to be there and b) looking get our money and get rid of us.
There was another Asian woman serving us who was trying to be somehow kind but not with much success.

If i knew, i would defiantly think it twice to go there. I must be starving (like i was in that case) and nothing else to be nearby...

“Convenient and reliable”

This is our closest restaurant. It is perfect for those days when we don't feel like cooking and want something simple and easy.

“Oh Dear - not what I remembered!”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 22, 2012

I well remember this restaurant when it was in the Kings Road. Then it was excellent value and good basic cooking. Now it is just basic and reasonably cheap - one can say no more in its favour. Clearly over the passage of the years the management has changed and so has the offering. Many of the old much loved menu items had gone also. The room is quite nice but the service was offhand and the food very bland

“Cheap and Easy!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 28, 2012

I love this place. Its a short walk from our flat when we are staying in London. Its so inexpensive and the food is always delicious homestyle goodness. Our friends who live in Chelsea first took us there and now when Im there for work or pleasure its on my list of cheap and easy London retaurants...because extended stays in that city get very expensive.
