“peaceful but stimulating”
Reviewed December 3, 2012

Beautiful location and easy to get around.. A limited number of pictures but everyone is a gem of it's genre that gives you a better insight into the artist than lots of pictures. The cafe sells enormous portions of cake. And when you've soaked up enough top rate culture and can face the bustle, Covent Garden is only a 10 minute walk away.

“A whole package in one!”
Reviewed December 2, 2012

Beautiful architecture, as well as one the best collections of modern art in London!
Somerset House is also another treasure to explore.
The only downside, of course, is that you must pay... not very much though

“A beautiful, tiny gallery at Somerset House”
Reviewed December 1, 2012

I loved this gallery! One of my favorites ever. There are so many good paintings in this collection, it's quite overwhelming. Highlights include Renoir, Van Gogh, and Manet. Also inexpensive. Necessary for impressionism and post-impressionism fans.

The Courtauld Gallery is located in a stunning building on the Strand. It has a compact but impressing collection of artwork.
