We visited the Jewel Tower mainly because it was included in our London Pass. It turned out to be a nice little museum with some fascinating history and great interactive exhibits. I'm glad we didn't miss it.

Behind Westminster Abbey and alongside the Palace of Westminster, stands hidden the Jewel Tower. This small tower was originally the tower where England's monarchs kept their jewels and other valuables safe. Over the years its use changed and it became the repository for documents requiring the monarchs assent. The tower is worth a visit but access involves a steep stone staircase which is not for the very unfit or disabled.

Stopped off here as a surprising find while wandering through London
Really interesting to see the history of the royal family and London architecture
Nice information boards and fabulous models to demonstrate the ancient set-up, only £3.90 to get in as we'll, bargain for London!
Only small attraction though, flying visit

If you're passing by the Houses Of Parliament why not pop into this little treasure. It doesn't take long to go round but it is seeped in history. A slight entrance charge but it's not too expensive for what it is. A small but charming building and one that hasn't been spoiled by becoming too touristy.

It was quite like going back to History classes... The visit as worth while.. So much to see and So much to do.. Although it tends to get a bit crowded and one cannot see to one's heart content... but can come back fo rmore
