“Tiny rooms but everything else is stellar”
Reviewed January 17, 2011

Just left; the hotel is hard to find: next to Giraffe adn across from the hotel casino on the edge of the Park. Lots of everything you need around the hotel: shops, deptment stores, pubs, restaurants, clubs, even a Whole Foods. High Street Ken is just over a 5 minute walk away.

Lobby is small and doubles as the lounge and breakfast room, which can sometimes get crowded, but they always figure out an extra space. A continental breakfast, but they try to help you with everything, making your toast, getting you a cup of coffee and the like. In the room is a water jug that you can refill your bottles fro the day. They do provide for yuo 2 x bottles in your room daily. Have good computer for your use in the lounge as well.

Rooms are very very tiny. If you have been European Singles, you will not be suprised by them,. where getting around the room and even putting away your bags will be a creative challenge. But you wont want to spend time in your room --- the bneds are comfy and new linen with good duvets, good lights, great thick cushy bath towels. Clean and sleek modern furniture. I had a single, was told I was upgraded to a double and was shocked - I though it was tiny fro the single, but its a double! Dont let the size turn you off. The room itself as well appointed, breakfast is good and the staff go out of your way to make you comfortable. |There is a flat screen TV, tea/coffee making facities, Ipod docking station/clock radio. I have stayed at Le Merriden Piccadilly and poad eons more; the Gore was much much more $ but the rooms practicalyl the same size as the Seraphine And at various Radissons, the rooms are older, nto as well kept, similar size and pricier. KNow that you care coming into a smml room and you will be fine!

Hotel is small and was difficult to find because of the small entrance but once inside was worth the search! Lovely, newly refurbished hotel, so well done. Continental breakfast was really nice and the location is just perfect. Tour bus stops just outside the door and local bus also. Kensington High Street underground is just a short walk. Shopping is fantastic and the largest shopping centre, Westfield is only a 5 minute bus journey and drops you door to door. Would stay here again. Found the rate a little expensive but worth it in the end.

On 27th November I attended an event at the Olympia 2 and managed to get a room at the nearby Seraphine Kensington Olympia for £77 for one night through Quickrooms.com. However upon check-in they did not have my reservation. The gentleman at the front desk phoned a colleague and it turned out my reservation was at Seraphine Kensington Gardens. This was only a five-minute walk down Kensington High Street with my little rucksack but it would have been very annoying if you had been dropped off by a taxi with a heavy suitcase.

The room I had was a single room and, as mentioned in other reviews, it was very small, however it had all the facilities, a comfortable bed and most importantly it was very clean. My room was facing the back and very quiet so I had a good night's sleep. The complimentary breakfast was continental and I had no complaints whatsoever. After breakfast I decided to do some sightseeing on foot, it was nice and quiet and took me about an hour to walk from the hotel to Leicester Square. The easy way would of course have been the tube, High Street Kensington tube station is right next door.

Small rooms as reported by others but who cares when you are there to see London not a hotel room! Room has all facilities required.Had room at front little noise but did not stop us sleeping and horseguards passing by woke us in time for breakfast. Continental, sufficient. Helpful staff carried suitcase up for us despite protests.
Ideal position for Kensington Museums, Harrods, Albert Hall, Portobello Road only 10-15 mins across Kensington Gardens. Underground Station only ten minutes away. Took us 35-40 minutes to walk to Victoria for the theatres.
No dining facilities but 3 minutes down the road in Kensington Court can recommend Arcadia Italian restaurant not a bad price for London

The entrance to the hotel is squeezed between some shops ans a restaurant and does not give a good impression.

However, the rooms , though small, are neat, tidy and clean with all the facilities you may need. My room was way too warm and the AC didn't seem to want to lower the temp. One call to the reception and bingo it was fixed with a couple of bottles of water just in case I was still too hot.

My room faced the main road but the double (triple?) glazing worked a treat no sound.

Breakfast was buffet style and good. Staff pleasant and helpful. I will stay again.

I recently stayed with my partner at Seraphine Kensington Garden Hotel at very prime location in London. I personally recommend everyone to stay at this newly build hotel with excellent interior decoratted modern look rooms. I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel & staff members are very friendly. My special thanks to general manager Mr Sunil Joginpally & Jason for looking after us, throughout our stay.
Thanks
Alex

We stayed here for one night and did not have a good experience. I know central london rooms are small but the room we had was tiny! Half the tv chanels weren't working and it too hot! The air conditioner didnt work so we had to open the windows which meant that we heard all the traffic from the noisy high street. I would look for other hotels if you want a quiet relaxing stay in london.
