This hotel is lovely, quiet considering location and is close to everything. We had most kind yet relaxed service. Rooms are very small - but perfectly formed! Shower really good and ensuite modern. Lovely to go opposite to Kensington Gardens for a morning stroll. Excellent.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 days first week in `june and we couldn't have stayed in a better place. ~nice quiet hotel near to underground and bus services. ``the `hotel staff couldn't be more helpful. The room was lovely and clean. It may have been small but after all I only wanted to sleep and shower in it ! Continental breakfast was sufficient and coffee excellent. It was nice and quiet yet `kensington `high street was very lively and I loved the way the pubs, cafes and small shops were open until midnight. I will definitely stay in this hotel again.

Stayed for a week on business, hotel staff were extremely helpful, towels were a highlight. The rooms are quiet, very clean, modern (recently renovated), and were small but comfortable. Location, right across from Kensington Gardens, is a main highlight. Shopping, restaurants, transportation and all amenities right at your door step. Will be back with my wife for vacation.

This hotel is right on Kensington High St. and so is in a really brilliant location but the street is very noisy well into the early morning so sleep is made very difficult. The room we were in was definitely the smallest accommodation I have ever had but decorated to quite a high spec so I could forgive them that but the en suite was really ridiculously small - just a shower cubicle and toilet about a foot and a half apart. Spotlessly clean but not a pleasant experience. Pity really because the staff are very nice and efficient and aesthetically the place is very smart and modern. The breakfast looked very average but why have something unremarkable when there are so many excellent places close by to eat? I would recommend this hotel if you could get a cheap rate (in a very expensive town) and could have a room at the back of the hotel with a slightly bigger bathroom.

From the moment we stepped inside this hotel out stomachs sank. After clambering up 2 flights of stairs with minimal lighting we entered a very small reception/bar/coffee lounge/breakfast room with a vey strange atmosphere. There only seemed to be one member of staff that did everything, from collecting your bags to putting toast in for you at breakfast to finalising your bill which we found very odd. Once we got to our rooms (Mini Suite & Single Room) we could not beleive the lack of space and amenities for the money we had paid, very very dissapointing. The single room was a joke. I am a tall person and I felt like I had walked into something from alice in wonderland. I had no way of walking around the room and will probably have permanent bruising to my legs from the amount of times I hit my shins on bed trying to go from one end of room to the other. The junior suite was definetely junior. The room had a disabled toilet which is fine but it had been thrown together on the cheap by placing lots of baby gates together which do not have any way of sealing water into shower area. After a shower the bathroom was flooded. Nothing seemed to work well, the design of the rooms , the bathrooms and the breakfast was not for the faint hearted. It was like walking into the twilight zone. The breakfast area was like a sauna. The one member of staff surveying his domain and a childs table with a choice of 3 cereals and some stale pastries and toast. mmmmm lovely. One morning we had half a cup of froth ( coffee apparently ). toast in a bowl and a hair in my stale croissant. We decided to make a hasty retreat to the coffee shop near by, trying not to fall down the stairs on the way out. I am still reeling from the disapointment of this hotel, the ridiculous price for a very mediocre hotel. The noise has to be mentioned. The air con in my room didn't work and as the room was very warm I had to open window during the night. The road is very busy with constant noise, no sleep on first night which didn't help my mood and thoughts about hotel. The one positive is the location as you are in a vibrant area, and you are a stones throw from Kensington gardens, however this is not ever going to convince me to stay at this hotel again.

From the moment we went through the front door, we loved the Seraphine! Very trendy design, super staff who met us at the door and took our luggage. Contemporary design throughout the whole hotel. We had booked a junior suite as we had our young son with us, wonderful spacious room overlooking Kensington Gardens. Beautifully decorated, spacious bathroom, tea/coffee/kettle in room. They even left us 3 bottles of water every day too. Lovely continental breakfast, bread, fruit, cereal, yoghurt, tea, coffee etc & plenty of it! Ideal location, just a couple of minutes from Kensington High Street tube station & the shops. Plenty of bars & restaurants nearby. Can't wait to go back again

Smallest rooms I have ever encountered on four continents - could not fit around bed in single or double rooms, no room to put suitcase on floor. Bathroom tiny and cramped with no amenities (self-rated as 4.5 stars when we booked) except for liquid soap in the shower.
Creepy staff who peered over our shoulders when we were checking emails on public computer and asked inappropriate questions - too familiar.
Hotel had weird smell and extremely noisy from nightclub below 0 BonJovi blaring at 3 am made sleep impossible.
Of greatest concern were steep steps with no hand rail leading to lobby - had to leave a bag unattended on the street while getting luggage up; inadequate fire escape, directions for emergency exit removed from back of door; did not feel safe around staff, heard people walking around at night. A very unsavoury and creepy experience. We left after 2 nights and staff rude and unhelpful and threatened to charge cancellation fee although we had paid in full they deducted GBP500 from credit card for "extras" but there was no mini bar etc
