“Tiny room, incredibly noisy,. Didn't sleep at all.”
Reviewed December 28, 2012 via mobile

Arrived at 11pm, by 3 am hadn't slept- bathroom fan would not switch off. Tiny Single Rooms about 3 x 2 m. Very hot but too noisy to open windows. A/c not working. Internet code wrong. Tried to check out at 3 am to sleep in my car. Was told I could not have a refund.

This hotel is in a great location, opposite the much more expensive Grand Royal Hotel it is on the Kensington High Street. Shops, pubs, restaurants within in falling distance. In fact when you walk out the doorway of hotel you can simply walk next door for a drink and/or something to eat.

There's no need to trail around London on the night when you've been out all day looking at the attractions or shopping or whatever you want to do in London Village.

Also the tube station is about 5 mins walk away so great for buzzing around London quickly.

The hotel is very clean, nice bed, and sofa enough room to get ready and rain shower in the bathroom.

The staff are quiet and polite which is what you would expect.

Yes there is a staircase and the lift is slow but it’s a quiet hotel anyway I didn’t see any other guests until breakfast so that’s a plus.

Breakfast is a nice cont. breakfast with good selection of cereals, toast, jams, marmite etc, fruit, yogurts, eggs, meat and cheese and pastries so as it is in with the room its worth getting a lining on your stomach.

Had a couple of late drinks at the bar after being for a meal and few beers around Kensington, was cheap enough for a hotel £3.50 for a bottle of beer which is good for a London hotel. Also room service of wine is pretty reasonable but i suppose with so much around the doors it has got to be competitive.

To summarise this is a great hotel and I can't find one thing that would stop me coming back.

Room Tip: We got a double deluxe room which faced the High Street you will get a bit of noise but please remem...

Positive points: location is closed to High St Kensington tube station; rooms are quite well decorated; price/quality is OK (depending from which offer you are able to find of course); several restaurant and take away around. To improve: breakfast where selection is limited (no typical british wide choice available). Negative: rooms are pretty small and bathroom was in my case very very small, not even 2 sqm. But if you spend most of your time outside you'd not suffer too much. Recommended as much as you are OK by not having too much space around you.

Me & my boyfriend stayed on a flying visit to London. The Seraphine is in a really good location, the staff are very friendly & the rooms are very clean (although extremely small but this is to be expected of a 'boutique hotel'!!)
We were happy with our room however we were only staying one night so the size may prove a problem for anyone staying longer or for a family with small children.
All in all great value for money & we would stay here again.

Our room was advertised as a luxury executive room and although it did not live up to that, it was, well decorated and comfortable, albeit tiny! The reception/breakfast area has been well designed to make the best use of the available space and has a nice feel, with a nice continental breakfast. Good location, ideal for bars, restaurants, shopping, buses/tube etc, with extremely helpful and friendly staff.

The Seraphine hotel only has 22 rooms. They are european size, but comfortable. The bathrooms are very large and have heated tile floors which are great. The staff is extremely helpfull. A great Continental breakfast is included with the room and it exceeded our expectations. The hotel is located about 2 blocks from the Kensington High Street tube station. Kensington Gardens is across the street. Many resturants in the area and a Whole Foods is just down the street, which has a great food court. Lots of fresh cooked choices at resonable prices. If you have been to London before, you'll know what I mean by resonable. All hotels in this area are pricey, but this one gives good value.

This hotel is in a fantastic location with a bus stop right at the door. It's very clean and nicely decorated. Small rooms but you're only there to sleep so not a problem so long as you are not on the first floor at the weekend as there is a nightclub next door.
