Description: Set high above the bustle of Regent Street on the fifth floor of the famous former Dickins & Jones building, aqua london is one of the capital's most unique and exciting drinking and dining destinations with its two restaurants, cocktail bar and stunning roof terraces. Aqua kyoto is a unique Japanese restaurant showcasing chef Paul Greening's innovative cuisine. An extensive menu of beautifully-presented sushi and sashimi is complemented by creative hot dishes combining the highest quality British produce with Paul's contemporary technique. A central sushi bar and open sumibiyaki charcoal grill combine with sleek black and red decor to create a sense of theatre in keeping with aqua kyoto's location in the heart of the West End. Pass the Pamplona bull that seems to charge at you along the sultrily-lit corridor and find yourself in aqua nueva, offering Spanish dining at its finest. Here chef Alberto Hernandez presents a modern take on traditional northern Spanish cuisine, reinterpreting classic dishes in exciting new ways. Meanwhile at London's first dedicated Cava Bar guests can order from a menu of delicious tapas while enjoying a glass of cava from an extensive list. At the heart of aqua london is aqua spirit and its charcoal-ringed bar representing Zen purity. Perennially popular as a destination for beginning, ending or spending an evening, at aqua spirit master mixologists serve up some of the finest cocktails in London. Aqua spirit boasts two hidden gems - outdoor terraces with stunning views over London's rooftops, perfect places to relax and refresh.

My wife and I went for dinner, and the first course was good. We ordered the fish and saw a piece if plastic in the plate. We asked the dish to be replaced, and the manger (Simon) behaved rudely in a way I have never seen before outside McDonald's.

We left the place, and will not come back.

Lovely Sushi, great atmosphere, music and drinks after on the rooftop terrace is a great end to a fab night. Would highly recommend and will be back. The only negative is bar service is really really slow! Don't let this stop you though!

Cool, trendy place with a lively/fun vibe, lots of young people and people eating for special occasions.

The cocktails are nice (rather strong) and the roof terrace is a nice option. The bar itself and perhaps the bar staff aren't to die for as not much room and all seemed a bit hurried/unwelcoming but pleasant enough for a quick drink.

The table service was quick and the staff were happy to recommend dishes.

The food was nicely cooked/flavoured - each dish was fully explained. I'd say if you like Hakkasan this place would suit you - the food here is slightly more adventurous yet delicate and of better quality.

I'd definitely go again.

Looking very good at first sight, waiting at the bar for ages to order our drinks with barmen having obviously fun of talking and laughing. Then doing us a big favor of making 2 basic drinks, and charging us top money, payment proces took another 10 minutes. No servis whats-o-ever and still asking for service charge! Nor nice experience walking passed the waitress/ hostess and security guy as they pushed through and not giving a way to paying customer and treat you with I am socool working look .I am very disappointed of this place, will never be back and definitely will not recommend to anyone .

Ok, so it’s a pretty cool looking place, beautiful decor, with large dark-suited doormen outside, and beautiful hostesses who look you up and down when you arrive. And yes, it is trendy and it is full of "beautiful people", and it does have a rooftop bar and terrace.
But the "service" sums up all the worst of what is wrong with some of these places in London (or any major city).
Tried to order a drink at the bar and four of the barmen were huddled in the corner ignoring potential customers and clearly having a good laugh about some recent experience, lewd gestures included. When one of them eventually deigned to serve me he acted like he was doing me a favour. Still charged the obligatory 12.5% service though (even though I had to queue ages and ultimately complain at the bar to get any service - and it wasn’t busy), I couldn’t be bothered asking for the service to be removed from the bill, didn’t need the hassle.
Once sat at the table where our friends joined us for one drink (that was enough), I tried to attract the attention of one of the "waitresses" walking around to get them a drink - seems like I mistook one of the receptionists / hostesses for a waitress - cardinal sin. Rather than say "sorry sir, I don’t serve drinks but will get you someone who can", she was clearly very offended that I could have made such a mistake and gave me one of her best "if looks could kill....." efforts and then walked on by. Whatever.
If the staff had their heads any further up their backsides they wouldn't be able to see where they were going.......clearly recruited for their looks rather than their cusomer service ethic.
So well over £50 for one unpleasant and uncomfortable round of four drinks
We won’t be back....
