Owner description: All aboard the ‘orrible omnibus for a ride around the dark side of London. The Ghost Bus Tours’ classic Routemaster has been redesigned to give passengers London’s first ‘Fright Bus’ service. On-board actors and technical trickery combine to create the scariest tour in town. A creepy conductor provides the commentary for this sinister sightseeing show, revealing haunted places, unmarked burial grounds and the skeletons in the capital’s cupboard.

A night of fun after a day of Christmas shopping. We were lucky to be with other passengers who entered into the 'spirit 'of things which added to our enjoyment. This would be ideal for a group outing. The lady bus conductress set the mood so well and her enthusiasm was infectious. She held our attention with historical facts interspersed with quirky fun stories. I would have been happy with her dialogue alone throughout . Who would have thought the curve in the Piccadilly tube line was due to ........ no I can't tell . You will just have to ride the bus for yourself. Have fun.

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip on the Necrobus and would recommend it to all. Informative, theatrical, scary, spooky and brilliantly acted laughed really hard. There are some nice little touches and a lot of effort put in. Thank you ! Adam&Deborah

This tour has the potential to be brilliant but occasionally is confusing and annoying. The actress doing the tour was excellent and had just the right amount of scary versus comedy. We did get stuck in some traffic, but she ad-libbed wonderfully to keep everyone entertained and actually these were some of the funniest moments. The ghost stories were really interesting and having done London tours before and lived in London for years, I was pleasantly surprised to find out things I never knew. If the tour stopped there and trusted in the actors and the tales they have to tell, I would have highly recommended it. But unfortunately it then goes awry. A 'Health and safety inspector' gets on the bus for no real reason, I think trying to be scary, which he nearly managed to begin with but then he just felt like an irritating interruption. Then you are asked to close the curtains, just as you get to the most spectacular views of London down the Thames, to do a seance, which is essentially noises over a bad sound system and flickering lights. I was really enjoying it until it tried too hard to be scary. I’d still recommend it for a bit of fun though.

Thank you for letting us know your thoughts, we will pass on your kind comments to the conductor. We are sorry that you didn’t enjoy the whole show; the surprise guest and the séance are components of the show which usually attract positive feedback. It was a bad day at the office/morgue.

We booked this as part of our work Christmas party as a quirky thing to do. Didn't really know what expect, but we were not disappointed.

The conductor was brilliant, as was the theatrics and interaction. Very entertaining and funny, and we learnt some interesting facts about London. Really reminded me what an amazing city London is.

I can't praise this highly enough. The staff at the office were also great when it came to organising the tour. Because we did a private hire we got picked up from our office and dropped off at the restaurant we were eating at, so it helped the evening go very smoothly.

I booked it as a suprise for my wife's birthday (we did do other things!!) got a two for one deal and to be honest hadn't great hopes for the experience. The bus is quite old and apparently is a genuine necrobus, no heating on the cold evening we got on but that's how old bus's are. Yes the windows misted up, the commentary may have been rather odd, some of the story's a bit disjointed but I did learn one or two new things about London.
Did we enjoy it? In a way yes, at two for one it was fine, the tour around The City informative, the "actors" did their best, so if you get a two for one give it a try but don't get on with too high expectations.
