Remarkably good Chinese food. A bit on the pricy side but the flavors were each distinctive, ample sized portions. Cocktails were good - heavy on the alcohol! Service was a bit spotty.

Alone, cold & midweek, as well as hungry- this was like an oasis.
Friendly service, lovely ambiance, fresh food, freshly cooked & good wine.
What more do you want?
Not too expensive either.
More roomy than A Wong's.
A modern Chinese style eatery.

I booked well in advance having been told by their PR company of the Chinese New Year celebrations and menu
When we arrived, they had no record of my booking and there was no celebration and menu as it was Saturday lunch-time.
What a disappointment as we had asked two other guests.
Having said that the Lobster menu was superb

Good but expensive. A casual atmosphere in the middle of the city. The roasted meats are good but portions are small. The steamed sea bass is also fresh but expensive for what it is. The Taiwanese fried chicken was a disappointment. Go for the roast meats and the soy chicken.

We were recommended the restaurant by friends and please we went.

The food was very good - we had shared starters including the duck and then ordered the fish which was excellent and a trio of pork dishes which were very tasty. Not sure how vegetarians would have fared but we enjoyed it.

The service, questioned in some reviews, was excellent. Our waitress took us through the courses with explanations where necessary and the manager twice came over to check we were happy and chatted to us on our way out.

If we had any criticism it would be the cost of the drinks. Our nice but one of the cheaper wines was £42 per bottle. We would have ordered more if the drinks had been more reasonably priced rather than have gone to a rather nice hotel where the drinks were considerably less expensive.

Overall still a good evening.
