For a lovely spot in the heart of the city, easily accessible to wherever your needs take you in the hustle and bustle of London, this hotel is tucked away neatly away from all the rowdiness in a nice quiet spot just off London Wall (and a moment away from Moorgate Underground station).

Upon arrival we were greeted with a free upgrade to a superior room (which we were surprised by but gladly accepted), checked in, and were told we would receive a phone call when the room was ready. We left our bags and went to enjoy our London experience.

When we arrived back at the hotel our bags were already in our seventh floor room, and whilst the view wasn't everything, the room was delightful. Beautiful room to stay in, huge bed, lots of space, everything you could want in a hotel room (and more, eg. a forty inch HD tv with free bluray rentals from reception!).

The staff were all really friendly, interested in your stay, the drinks were nice (and not too much more than you'd pay in that area) and the breakfast was lovely.

We can't wait to come back, and enjoy another stay.

This is my preferred hotel when travelling for work to London. The bar is empty in the evening and you'll only find business men/women. The good side of this is there's virtually no noise in the hallways at night.

They also serve the best breakfast I've found in London (hotels). They got my order wrong last time, apologised, corrected the order and the in the end I only paid for my orange juice! Thanks!

Also, the staff remembers you even if it's only your second stay! They are very helpful and polite.

My first choice when travelling but it's often fully booked :-(

My partner and I recently got married and although we live in London, we were looking for a central London hotel where the majority of our guests from outside London could stay. Because of its location in the financial "City" district which is very quiet at weekends and further away from many of the tourist destinations, the weekend rates are often very attractive for a central London hotel and given the large number of rooms we needed, the reservation manager Shaun was extremely helpful in securing a good rate.

From start to finish, the hotel staff and central reservation team were simply excellent in terms of accomodating our requests, including reserving a private bar and seating area the night before, and allowing early check-in on the day of the wedding despite this not being something they could guarantee.

All our friends and family commented on the high standard of the hotel, the lovely rooms, the quality of the breakfast and above all the service.

We would highly recommend this hotel.

I went with my wife for just for the night but I was really delighted with everything and wanted to stay more!

The room was neat and modern with all the additional extras some hotels haven't got like a hairdryer, iron and iron board and a Bose sound system!

Breakfast the following morning was great! Real, hot Colombian coffee was served along with a typical English-style breakfast (tomato, beans, bacon, toast, mushrooms, etc... )

Room Tip: Don't be discouraged by the noisy bar on the ground floor - I stayed on the first floor and coul...

The website was easy to use, the receptionist was lovely, the upgrade was a great surprise, a room with a balcony with some fizz thrown in, a fridge, a safe, jelly beans, temple rub, mags, air con, wifi, all the little extras that make a stay that bit more special. We had plans in place for meals so did,nt eat in but would do next time. So close to the tower and bridge make it a really good location. The price was competitive and good value for money. The area was buzzin and the hot weather an added bonus. There was some building work opposite but hey this is London and did not detract from our stay. Thank you for making our break very special indeed.

My husband and I managed to get a great deal on this hotel over the Easter weekend (4 nights), yes the area was a ghost town over the weekend (no bars or shops open) as it’s in the business district but because the Moorgate and Bank tube stations are both only a 5 minute walk it really didn’t matter to us. Also we were able to have lovely cocktails in the stylish hotel bar in the evenings when we got back from being out.

We booked the deluxe room, it was very spacious for being in the centre of London, comfy big sofa in the living room separated by an arch, the complementary jelly beans and Pringles were a nice touch. Everything was very clean and the bed was really comfortable, because the area is so quiet too we slept really well over the 4 nights. Housekeeping did a nice turndown service in the evening too.

The staff were really excellent, reception/bar/breakfast staff were all so friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The only negative of our whole stay was on a couple of mornings our cooked breakfasts took around half an hour to come to the table which seemed like quite a wait. But the breakfasts were cooked very well and there was a lovely selection of fresh fruits/pastries/cereals to help yourself to as well.

We hope to return in the future and would definitely recommend this hotel. Thanks!

Warm welcoming, helpful reception team and all amenities that you might need are available (including slippers!). Large design bathroom, and excellent room service which is very present but does not disturb. Hotel is next to my office which allows to sleep an extra half hour before starting work.
