Description: Great steak, giant martini's & guaranteed fun. Our steaks are cut from naturally raised, native breed British beef, much of which we age & butcher in house. Whilst beef is our thing, we have other favourites BBQ ribs, grilled fish, roast chicken, fresh salads & amazing homemade puddings. We are all about the personal touch & great for any occasion.

My daughter and I popped in to Sophie's Steakhouse after seeing a matinee performance of Lion King. We chose the 2 course theatre menu for £12.95. For our main we had rump steak and chips and then for dessert we had both the cheesecake and creme brûlée. The steak was thick and cooked perfectly. As it was rump steak it was a little short on flavour but at these prices who's going to complain? The bernaise sauce was bland but the chips were good. Desserts too were a bit hit and miss - the creme brûlée was yum but the cheesecake was tasteless. All the dishes looked stunning however and I was impressed by the friendly and attentive staff. Overall a very good cheap meal. Food, drinks, service charge totalled £34. A bargain for this area in London! We shall return!

Love the steak and the steak salad. Everything we ate was good here. Great chocolate molten cake. We returned many times while in London, a favorite.

So you're going to one of the many wonderful West-End theatre shows? You like steak or chicken? Well, Sophie's has a pre-theatre menu that might appeal to you. The taste is good, the portions are big enough, prices are good as long as you stick to the set pre-theatre menu, and the staff are friendly and work efficiently.
This place is bigger than you might think when looking at it from Wellington Street, and that's why there's often a table available when other nearby restaurants are full. But that also means it can get quite noisy inside. It's very close to the Lyceum theatre, where The Lion King musical plays, so many families with little children eat at Sophie's before the show. Bring earplugs.
