Went here on a Groupon deal last night. Very pleasant and friendly staff. The food was good including a bellini for 33 pounds for two altho all sides etc were extra and they wouldnt let us swap the dessert for a starter but aside from that we enjoyed the experience.

I was slightly put off after reading the multiple negative reviews on this page but I can ensure you that experience was a positive one. Best thing about this restaurant was actually the service, warmly greeted when we arrived and looked after throughout the meal (I assume that he was the manager). The meal was good but I think the main issue is that people are expecting Gaucho quality due to its name - you will not receive this but you will have a very good meal.

Dined here on A La Carte menu and overall disappointing starters good, main course average at best, as in steakhouse we had a fillet and a rib eye both dry and tasteless, ask for red wine sauce its not available ask for a veal jus its not available only peppercorn or Bernaise, not much of a chef if cant knock up a sauce, just goes to show all pre made and can't differ!
It's a basic steak at top money, better off going to Rib Room for better quality, of have this quality at half the price anywhere. Bread served at table was 2 pieces of the smallest plain white bread available at least next table got olive bread, just had 2 courses in and out in 60 minutes hardly an evening out restaurant
Service was Ok
Would not be worth a return visit, seems to live on a chef,s name, hope he can make a sauce!

We went to this place last night on a 4-course 'deal' and were very impressed. Firstly the menu we got was - as far as I could see- the same as the a la carte menu I saw on-line. The gentleman who served us was prompt, friendly and helpful. We could have anything we wanted - and although there were some items that were at extra cost - this seemed reasonable considering what they were and the overall price. Yes OK paying extra for the triple fried chips with your steak might seem mean - but this was made clear up front - and when we got them they were superb AND there was enough in one portion for 2 people easily!
To cut to the chase every item we had was delicious and beautifully prepared.. This was especially impressive given that the place was rammed and the waiters were doing a good impression of (a somewhat more articulate and talented) Manuel on amphetamines! The steak - as you would expect - was perfect and simply melt-in-the-mouth.
We were warned on 'the deal' that we could be asked to vacate the table at 8.45 (start at 7.00) but this in fact never materialised and we had a leisurely and very enjoyable evening.
We could not manage the cheese course so they offered to - and actually did - wrap it for us as a takeaway. No complaints whatsoever. Good value too.
