Set on a very pretty street full of huge town houses and lots of hotels, as may other reviewers have put there is no sign just a door number which I found very odd. The area is brilliant lots of local shops, restraunts and the tube station is litrally two minuites away. We satyed on the forth floor I am a fit 23 year old and could hradly breath when I got to my room it is a shame you cant pick your room when booking. The room itself is very simple but practical the carpets very filthy full of stains it could do with a bit of a spruce up the website pics are obviously taken when new. Bathroom was nice ahd a shower but the door was broke and it took 15 min to warm up also you could hear you neighbour having a pee which is not very nice. The staff were ok when I checked in all in all the hotel is OK I wouldnt stay again but for the price and location ist is and excellent base.

Room Tip: dont stay on the 4th floor!

I spent three nights in this “serviced apartment”. The first impression was “how odd is this place?”. It is in a pretty street off Bayswater Road, at the west end area of Hyde Park. The street is a mix of private residences, and inns/hotels. You should think of taking the address with you, as it is difficult to find the right house (no explicit sign noticeable from the street). Once we registered (the reception being a very small office at the end of the ground floor), we went to the room. Note that you have to pay when you arrive, and there is an extra 2% fee if you pay by card (very kindly pointed out by the receptionist, showing us a card saying so on her desk). Not carrying xxx hundreds of pounds on us, we didn’t really have a choice…
The room was very small, but very nicely arranged. Everything seems fairly new/recently refurbished. The kitchenette is always practical if you don’t want to eat out every meal, every day. The bathroom was tiny, but functional. Around the bed there must have been 40-50 cm on each side of the bed, which makes it a bit difficult if you are staying with another person, but there is a closet, so if you put your stuff out of the way it’s kind of okay.
We were staying in a room set in the basement, but had a window and a door going to the backyard. This hotel is no exception in London, the isolation is terrible and the room was very cold. An electric heating device is however available in the room (but still better pack an extra sweater or pair of socks for the time you spend inside). I don’t know how large are the other rooms, but I would suggest you ask what kind of room is available at what size, if you don’t want something too small (especially for larger, or claustrophobic, people who, I guess, wouldn’t be comfortable in this kind of space).
The situation is good, near the park and Kensington gardens, and very close to Bayswater and Queensway station. But still be careful with the underground service, as it is often closed on weekends for work. Anyways, buses still run, but it asks a bit of patience.

Just spent one night in no 73 which will not be repeated. The welcome as one arrives is a disgusting smell in the hall that the staff have tried to drown with another dreadful air freshener. I was greeted by a pleasant receptionist who was most helpful the next day supplying me with maps of the area. Much appreciated. The climb up to the room on the 3rd floor was challenging, not for the frail or elderly as oxygen is not supplied. The staircase narrows on the 3rd floor making it very difficult with luggage. The room itself was a reasonable size with a small kitchen area and clean modern bathroom. The carpet was badly stained. The bed was comfortable but only one very small pillow per person.
The night was a long one as the room was unbearably hot and at midnight we could not get the aircon unit to work so we slept with the windows open. Our aircon was not working but the 10 units on the opposite building were as we listened to them on and off throughout the night. Buyers beware !!

We stayed for two nights, no signage which made it hard to find it. basement room was very clean and modern. free breakfast wasnt included as adevertised. The receptionist was unhelpful and didn't make you feel welcome.
Good location but as others have mentioned it does smell of gas in the hallway!!

I booked through booking.com and cancelled a month later. Booking.com could find no record of this but asked the woman not to charge me a cancellation fee due to the system, she charged me anyway and gave me abuse down the phone!!!
