Went there for lunch will colleagues and was very dissapointed with the quality of the food, everything was overcooked, veggies incinerated, meat rockhard.
Maybe the chef was having an off day, the gastropub menu looks good but sadly nothing coming out of the kitchen did.

Reasonably priced, local pub that serves food. Sadly it's a little overlooked because it is a bit off the beaten track so loses some of the traffic that frequents Bermondsey Street. However the clientele is good and at least you can find somewhere to sit, unlike most places on the main drag. Food is standard pub fodder - burgers etc. but perfectly eatable and good value.

Lesser known than the other restaurants (village east, champor champor, roast, brindisa, garrisson, zucca, constancia, magdalen, etc) in the area, but certainly not less! I live in the area and choose toveat here often.

The food is very good and service attentive. Not many people in the area know how good the food is (think it's only good for a pint), but those in the know, know that the food is on par with the aforementioned restaurants.

excellent fresh produce served with a smile. Reasonable prices. Atmosphere a bit lacking due to lighting and awful music but this place should be on the list to try and deserves success.
