One of my fav things to do on Sunday is to go the Whitechapel dining room for their lunchtime. roast. Place is quite small so can feel nice and cozy, with a stylish feel. Staff always friendly and don't hog you. Food cooked beautifully. At end of meal can relax, gaze out on to the street enjoying a glass of wine after feeling nicely full. Deserts always yummy.
Then with that warm happy satisfied feeling inside can stroll around the gallery taking in the always interesting art.

I was here a few times before but never noticed the cafe untill now.
It is a wonderfully designed mezzanine with a lot of daylight, a place where you want to go and eat read and have conversations. The food and drinks are well done.

Had late Sundsy lunch here today . When we gist arrived it was quiet but it did fill up later. It is only a small restaurant . The food was wonderful . Correct sized portions and beautifully cooked . I had Sea bass and my husband had Guinea Fowl . Bread and olives to start were of high quality . Puddings delicious. Excellent; friendly and helpful service. Great experience

The room is nicely put together, and very well lit. It has a lovely informal, but stylish vibe. The food is excellent - sort of modern British classics, but tasty and interesting. Service very pleasant and good. A gem.

Small dining room with a great atmosphere. All of the dishes we ordered were very tasty and cooked well. The choices were excellent for such a concise menu and I would say there was something on it for everyone. Try the truffle chips too!

Prices were reasonable for the location and the staff were very attentive. I imagine this place is busier during the day, but this did not detract from our experience.
