Great food and outdoor seating. Warning to Americans they do smoke outside, so you might want to sit inside.

Strolling into St. Christopher's place I wanted a small, non-chain restaurant and came across Massis, we were greeted with a big smile and were seated instantly and our waiter was wonderful...positive, upbeat and had good banter! Our food arrived, the vegetarian platter was well presented, the meat balls were okay (sauce should come with it) the Filo pastry needed some more cheese, though they were crispy and the grilled hallomi was so tasty! Dining outside a walking band, which played some traditional Lebanese style music and we got talking to our next door diners on both sides. We felt like we were holiday... Reasonable priced...though wouldn't pay anymore. Definitely pay a visit here!

Stopped off for early dinner near Paddington basin and stumbled across this place round the back from the waterside restaurants which were all overcrowded outside. Got a nice seat outside and the waitress was over right away to take our orders. Not having had lebanese food before we both went for the mixed grill and shared some veggies abd fries. The selection of grilled meats was great and all were cooked beautifully the lamb especially tender. All in all plenty to eat, not the cheapest but we got enough to eat for what we payed. That's one we will go back to with other colleagues.

Went here tonight, awful, genuinely. Staff were more more interested in watching football than serving us, only time they came over was to deliver the food & give the bill. Plates weren't cleared away, had a hair in my food, paid £14.50 for two tiny skewers of chicken with no rice. I have honestly never had worse value for money. Avoid at all costs

I'm a huge fan of Lebanese food so I was a little worried having read some of the reviews on here that we might have made a bad decision in going to Massis. We absolutely didn't.

We ordered a few different hot and cold mezze dishes and without exception they were very tasty. The moutabal was the stand out dish for me, it had a really smoky flavour which is just how I like it. The falafel too was excellent, piping hot and very crunchy on the outside. Delicious.

This is definitely a restaurant we will return to. The only thing I didn't like is that the toilets are downstairs and you have to circumnavigate a narrow spiral staircase to reach them so it's a bit of a problem if you meet someone coming the other way. A very minor thing though.
