Very well presented food and incredibly attentive staff. The combination of flavours really worked and you will be tempted to have everything! Nice wine list and affordable too.

This restaurant is part of the Kensington Hotel and as soon as you walk through the door and smell the Neom organic candle burning in the foyer you know this hotel is classy. Staff in the hotel were helpful and friendly. We booked through Toptable and had the set menu. The 2 waiters were charming, helpful and attentive. The food and wine was excellent. The only negative for me was the choice of music in the restaurant which sounded like whale music! The lounges next to the restaurant looked welcoming with big armchairs and a roaring fire. We din't have time to sit and relax after our meal as we were going to the opera. I will definitely recommend this place to friends.

First of all the hotel itself is very nice. Whilst waiting for our table we had drinks in the lounge area by a open fire. The food wine and service was excellent. I had the Lemon Sole which was exquisite. We had 50% off food via toptable which made the evening even more enjoyable. Great atmosphere. Cheeseboard was the only let down of the evening.

We were staying nearby and wanted something special for our Saturday night meal. We booked Aubrey on the basis of its location and its great Tripadvisor reviews. What a fantastic meal and experience from start to finish! The ambience of the restaurant is exactly to my taste; classical and classy, beautiful, restful, with soft music and lighting. We started with cocktails & bread with oil & vinegar. Onto two beautiful starters, then the best steak ever! We were going to have two fillet steaks, but the gentleman serving us persuaded us that we would enjoy the Chateaubriand (for two people). He was absolutely right and they even managed to cook it so that it catered to our slightly different medium to medium rare preferences. I can honestly say that I haven't had a better steak. We didn't manage desserts! The wine was excellent and service impeccable. We are coming back to London for a long weekend in July, so have decided to book the hotel and have a return visit to the restaurant. Yes, it's a bit expensive, but in this instance the quality matches the price.
