(please see attached). To say we were disappointed is understatement. The establishment was nowhere near full capacity but the service was shocking. We were asked to find a table but only managed to find one clean table so we sat down on that. We ordered our burgers and was advised they would take 10mins. They arrived 25-30mins later! We were absolutely shocked as when our tier arrived there was no burger themed cupcakes in sight and instead, we were actually a cake missing, served cold chips and received a wrong burger. We tried to explain to the waiter but English was not his first language so he struggled to understand. Another waiter came over and said there are language barrier issues and ushered the other waiter off quickly which I felt was uncalled for. We explained that we were expecting burger themed cupcakes and he just said we don’t do them anymore. Another waiter said we would not want them anyway as they were horrible. Who is he to know our taste buds! The waiter advised they would correct the burger and cook us new chips. The new chips were different shape to the ones we first received not sure why this was. We were still made to pay for the chips which is shocking! The burgers that were served on the teir were luke warm but having waited 25-30mins we could not be bothered to send them back. I fail to understand how, we were served cold chips and luke warm burgers given that they were made to order. We were not served any plates to eat the burgers and cakes off and even had to ask for napkins. We were not the only diners left disappointed as we could hear at least 2 other diners complaining about the same issues. We even overheard a waiter telling 2 girls that they were unable to take their burgers home if they did not finish them due to something to do with the temperature that they cook the burgers at and if they take them home and put them in the microwave they would not meet their standards. I find this ridiculous as 1 they were also served luke warm burgers and 2 they had paid for them. What was supposed to be a nice family afternoon tea was instead a shambles afternoon due to poor service, luke warm and cold food and not to mention the disgusting toilet that had a strong odur and no toilet roll. Good job we only used it to wash our hands. In our opinion, the establishment did not meet hygiene standards. We were left extremely disappointed and the afternoon was not worth £42.42.

Purchased a Groupon voucher- £20 for two people’s afternoon tea. We had a choice of mini burgers and we had to choose two. The rest were delicious cakes. Good value for the money.
Bit strange on the table there’s no cutlery or condiments.
One disabled toilet which was very grubby and dirty.

Came here with a groupon voucher and whilst it was good I wouldn’t have paid the full original price for it. We got a choice of 2 mini burgers each and then the rest was cakes and 1 glass of Prosecco. The burger choice was fab and the cakes were nice but the original price of £50 for 2 people is a bit steep I feel for what you get. The £20 we paid was sufficient enough.
