My wife and I ate here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Our children bought us the maze experience taster menu which included a glass of champagne which we had at the bar first. The food was delicious as good as I have eaten the braised beef melting in the mouth. A small soup came first as an amuse Bouche sized starter followed by great tuna, then lobster dumplings (not as good as in shanghai). The beef and the chocolate fondant were memorable.
But as someone described the portions are Tapas sized and reminiscent of Nouvelle Cuisine! The other cripe is the cost of wine , nearly £50 for a mucadet and even then not sur-lie. Chablis and Pouilly are more. The other cost was 2 cover charges! Why when the voucher was booked 6 months earlier. It might have been interesting if you had the voucher for a free meal and had no money !
The food though was fantastic.
