Description: Iberica Marylebone is the very centre of Spanish cuisine and culture in the UK. This destination venue not only offers the best in Spanish cuisine with seasonal gastronomic tapas, but also a delicatessen selling artisan produce and wines, some of which are unique to the British market. Diners are offered a choice of over forty hot and cold 'tapas', which are served from lunch through 'til late in the evening. In a relaxed yet dynamic atmosphere, simple cold dishes such as an extensive selection of cheeses and embutidos (charcuterie) - including the famous Jamón Iberico de Bellota, sit alongside classic bespoke tortillas and homemade croquettes offering guests a culinary contrast between both regional variations and more modern adaptations of traditional Spanish cuisine with a focus on Asturias specialities. The bustling Tapas restaurant and Delicatessen is flooded with natural daylight from floor to ceiling windows with a ground floor and mezzanine dining area.

Fabulous restaurant on Great Portland Street. Very friendly staff and our waitress was very enthusiastic about the food on offer and explaining the ingredients.
12.5% service charge excessive! We asked for it to be removed and left a cash tip. This wasn't a problem.
A little more attention to detail would not go amiss for instance, removal of prawn shells and used plates to make way for second courses. Finger bowls or extra napkins for use after eating shell fish.
Definitely recommend.

I was not much impressed when I ate at Iberica Canary Wharf on its opening night but having come back recently following the advice of a friend has introduced me to a whole new experience. The staff is very friendly and would go the extra mile to help. The menu has had a make over and it now offers decently priced and top quality dishes. The best addition is the stew of the day which offers a 300g mini-casserole filled with a traditional Spanish hearty stew which changes on a daily basis. At 7 GBP it makes an excellent lunch which I would not necessarily qualify as light because the stews are rather filling. The dry cured meets and cheese boards are not the cheapest in town but well worth the price as they are really top quality and sourced from reputable Spanish producers. The wine list and beer menu are excellent too. Overall well worth a visit now that it has come closer to the Spanish culture of growing on the locals by offering excellent quality for money. Well done Iberica team!

We booked a table for 7 people on a Saturday night recently. We arrived slightly early, but the charming staff led us to our already-prepared table, upstairs and with a lovely private dining feel. We ordered cocktails, then a selection of food when the other guests arrived. It was a wonderful evening, great food (in particular the black rice with cuttlefish and the suckling pig), great wine, great service. Despite originally being told we would need to give the table back at 9pm, this was waived and we were made very welcome to stay, despite the fact that we were probably quite a noisy group (it was an engagement celebration!). I would go back in a second!

Very good selection of tapas and of very decent quality. I have eaten at Iberica 3 times and enjoyed every dish. I cannot say the flavours are somewhat extraordinary, but they do work very well together and the quality of products being used is obviously very good. Good selection of wines and cocktails. Will be back for sure.

We dined as a large group at Iberica, explaining, after tracking down the wait staff and begging them to come to our table, that some of our group had to leave in an hour. This was met with hostility by the ride waitress who had failed this far, after 30 minutes there, to take a drink order. 2 other wait staff were very rude but ones later on were better. The food was pretty good, albeit a bit greasy even for tapas. Difficult to order appropriately as re staff wouldn't provide any guidance upon request. eventually though, if was a good night with good wine, reasonable food and eventually some more hospitable staff.
