Description: City commuters and dumpling enthusiasts alike love stopping by Dim T near London's Victoria station for after-work meals and leisurely lunches. Chic and cosy, Dim T restaurant serves up healthy steamed dim sum, hot cups of green tea and a selection of noodles, soups and classic curries that are simple, healthy, and blushingly brilliant. Popular with socialistas, media folk and dumpling connoisseurs, Dim T is an affordable and unshowy venue for business lunches and dinner dates, and the theatrical open-plan kitchen means you can watch the chefs steaming, and frying your food into palatable perfection. We love the chicken, wasabi and mushroom dim sum, the crispy duck pancakes and the won ton soup.

A friend and I walked in and left happy having had a wide selection of dim sum. Wide ranging menu could be a sign of too much ambition.

Spent a relaxed and enjoyable evening pre theatre. Offered special deal with theatre tickets as main course was two for one so decided to try it. So glad that we did. Nice welcome and good service. Staff friendly and helpful. Food is an oriental mix of Thai, Chinese, Veitnamese and Japanese. Beautifully presented and delicious. Would recommend you try it, we will definitely be going back.

On 21st December, we went to have a Chinese meal before we went to see Billy Elliott, this restaurant being only round the corner to the Victoria Palace theatre.
I found it online and as we were staying in London for a few days we wanted something nearby.. We had special pre-theatre 2 mains for 1 deals on the back of our theatre tickets and you had to show them to get the deal. I did pre-book on the phone but actually for a Saturday was surprisingly empty as we went early at about 4.30 as not much to do in Victoria area. I had booked for 5.30 but it was not a problem for us to go in early.
The staff were absolutely lovely and as time went on it got busier but our service was fine and we were not rushed or left too long. We waited for some time for the bill but still allowed enough time for our theatre performance and we left the restaurant at 7p.m.

The food was gorgeous and we were very happy with all our choices and we got advice on portion size from the lovely waiter who was very helpful and we therefore did not have much waste.. Would definitely visit again if doing a theatre in that area but if not, there is nothing else to do in that vicinity. so might try the London Bridge branch

The lemongrass and lychee cocktail is my most favourite!!! This a little treasure of a place where the atmosphere was so relaxed that we took our sweet time going through 12 baskets of dim sums and fritter desserts. Although the restaurant was short-staffed, the head waiter was honest about it upfront but the servers were still attentive enough. In short, delicious food, juicy cocktails, great service- it all helped my friends and I have a really good time! Many thanks!!!
