“French style in the capital”
Reviewed September 1, 2014

This brasserie is stylish, had a lovely atmosphere and was just a few minutes walk from High Street Kensington tube station. We ate from the early evening menu - 3 courses all of which were delicious - mussels, steak frites, followed by frozen berries in white chocolate sauce, which my 13 years old daughter loved! The service was quick and attentive and we would definitely visit again when we are in London.

“GOOD CHOICE FOR LEAVING DO”
Reviewed August 24, 2014

Had a celebratory leaving do here on 20 August - it was a good choice. Basically 3 courses for £15 after you add in the "compulsory tip" and soft drink.

About 4 options per course and something for the veggies.

Booked in advance and gave restaurant the selections in advance as we were on a tight schedule. No need to pay any deposit and Marc was fine when one person dropped out late on.

Cote served up quickly as asked and everyone had a good time. Well done Cote.

“Great Sunday dinner”
Reviewed August 22, 2014

Full on a Sun night, it's a good idea to book in advance. There was some confusion with the order, but it was fixed quickly. Food was delicious!

“Very good value for this part of London”
Reviewed August 20, 2014

Ate from their early evening three course menu, prior to a Prom . (Ten minute walk to Albert Hall) Portions weren't huge but it was only £12.95 and very tasty .
Service was excellent and the staff charming
(Unfortunately we were advised it 'wouldn't be busy' after 9pm the following evening and had intended to return . But it was full . I suspect the waiter hadn't realised there was an early evening Prom . Should have booked . Will certainly look out for this 'chain' again

“Rude staff”
Reviewed August 18, 2014

The food is nice. On my second time here the waitress was rude/mocked me for ordering my steak medium-well. She then made a point of telling all my 10 work colleagues at my table that their food would be delayed exclusively because of my order. I told her off but she ruined the experience to a point I will not be returning. I would expect someone in that job to be more understanding of other people's preferences and the establishment to educate staff and enforce good manners.
