Been twice now. You can drop in and prop up the bar, if you want a table it's best to book, or offer to leave before the table bookers arrive. Bar staff make the cocktails in full sight the proper way! Gin martini is very dry but oh so strong. Happy hour (check the website I think Sundays are included) you can have prosecco cocktails and martini ones half price. Lighting is dim and this makes it difficult to read the cocktail list but the iPhone torch came in useful! You can pay by card but they take it away and give it back when u leave. Did not like this one bit so a quick dash to the cashpoint. Fully recommend chocolate martini.

We popped in on a whim for pre-theatre cocktails and truly were not disappointed. During happy hours all cocktails are half-price and were some of the best we have had in London - simply stunning. Great atmosphere, good staff, fab cocktails and although we didn't have time to eat the girls next to us ordered bar food and it smelled and looked delicious.

If there is any criticism to be made it is that it is a very small venue, nearly all tables and seating was reserved and so we had to stand and it got a little crowded but we still had enough room standing at the bar drinking (too many) cocktails! Definitely worth a look and given it is in the heart of Covent Garden as very very good value

Went for happy hour drinks! Hal price martinis is great.
Great selection of martinis and other drinks.
Stay away from the Pear Rosemary martini-tasted a like an air freshner.
The lychee and passion fruit ones rocked!
Service was great. It was packed on a Friday nite but was able to get prompt service.

As with most cocktail bars in London, it is absolutely imperative to reserve a table in advance.
The cocktails are among the best I have ever experienced, and those who have reserved a table can enjoy the luxury of table service.
Dirty Martini also offer a small range of bar food, which was surprisingly good and reasonably priced.
Even during happy hour I'd challenge anyone who claims to have spent less than £80 (for a party of two) but it's well worth it!

Went here on a recent Sunday night for the happy hour. It's a downstairs bar on the corner of the Covent Garden Plaza. Small place. No seats when we arrived so got some drinks at the bar, The bar tenders were good at their job and polite unlike the waitress that was working that particular evening. Cannot remember her name but She was Eastern European. She was rude and obnoxious. After I told her this She became a little more polite. Drinks were half price all evening, they were tasty but definitely watered down. Would I go back, Maybe but only for the half price drinks
