Some Hotels overreach - trying to be too cutting edge, or too much to too many.
This Hotel does none of this - beautifully tucked away in SE1, but well worth looking up - certainly a step up on its local competition.

Only very slight niggle is that the linen (towels and sheets) need investing in.

I would strongly recommend this Hotel - corporate/social whatever your reason...its worth the stay.

Location great, hotel amazing. Lily suite is so relaxing and beautiful views. Hotel clean. The only thing that lets it down is the staff. Very rude and they don't understand customer service. We stay there very frequent in the Lily Suit but never have we been recognised or welcomed back mentioned. Lost a key card and got questioned and made to feel bad as to why I lost it. Also don't try to check in early as the rooms are never ready. Love hotel and location but staff need a lesson in public relations.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. Definitley going back. The food is really good too. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from tower Bridge and only 15 minutes walk from london bridge. Plenty of tube stations around too. The staff were very welcoming. I dont have a bad word to say about this place at all. Full marks!

Friendly staff very welcoming, hotel about 10mins from Tower Bridge Tube Station. Hotel is modern, funky and minimalistic. Bedrooms are a bit on the small side but have everything you need. Separate work space, great wet room. Overall excellent service and good hotel

This hotel is a great and quirky choice. Its centrally located south of the thames (nearest station tower bridge) and is an increasingly funky part of town. The surrounding streets offer great choices for stylish eating. The hotel looks over the square where on fridays there is a antiques market. The rooms are styled in different ways and offer all the comforts. We stayed on the top floor...we had a balcony overlooking the square and with a great view.

We arrived at around 11 o'clock in the morning and were able to check in although check-in time was 3 pm. I heard and read lots of complaining about the unflexibility of the reception staff which i can not confirm. Everyone was very nice and guest- oriented. I guess that sometines it just depends on how you ask for something. The rooms are a bit small but very stylish and cosy. We also had breakfast at the restaurant which was delicious and not too expensive.
The one and only thing that we disliked was the location, which was a bit off...it takes you 15-20 minutes to London Bridge station.
I would definetly stay here again.

Late June we stayed for a number of nights as did a number other family and friends. It was a great visit made all the better by the excellent service and attention from all the staff. We dined a number of times in the restaurant, entertaining our children and grandchildren. The restaurant staff catered for the wide range in ages and were so very friendly and attentive.
We have now stayed a number of times at this hotel, the locality is perfect to visit the sites and the City of London. The neighbourhood is excellent, having almost a small town feel to it. We were pleasantly surprised to see the large number of families who lived in or around Bermondsey.
Great spot, we'll be back!
