Private dining in one of the rooms seating 10 people, great food from the set menu, great service and fantastic 360 views from the 39th floor. Great for taking customers.

“How to treat a client right”
Reviewed February 3, 2014

I recently took a client here for lunch and came away thoroughly impressed.

The venue is, obviously, the primary attraction. And what a venue it is: given the semi-exlcusive nature of getting access to the restaurant and the views it provides, it definitely provides a "wow" factor to clients. The restaurant is also ideally sized, such that noise is kept to a relative minimum (at least for a working restuarant), allowing for normal volume discussions. For me, this is a critical requirement for any business lunch.

Food was also very impressive, albeit not cheap. The menu isn't terribly volumnous, but has enough good options to cater to almost everyone. I shared the rib-eye with another and we all shared the sides. Side options were a bit disappointing, both in size and diversity, offering only chips/fries and a creamed cabbage dish. Dessert was equally impressive - I had a deceivingly-named "Textures of Peanut" or something simlar. Feeling a little adventurous, I tried it and had one of the nicest (but rich) puddings ever...I would certainly order it again.

The wine list was insane: both in terms of length, but also in price. "Cheap" wines were in the £60-85 range, with many (most?) being well above £100. We tried a bottle north of £100, which will now occupy one of the best I've drunk. So, in summary, the wine list is expensive, but the quality of the wines appears to be top notch.

All in all, it was a great experience and an ideal (if pricey) place to take clients out.

“How to do a Christmas "bit of a do"”
Reviewed January 19, 2014

My boss took 11 of us here for our Christmas lunch and it was all wonderful, we had a lovely day re the weather so views were amazing and possibly even more amazing at night. Food was just so good we all had different dishes and all were great, the extra nibbles etc were also the best we have had, we had a lot of very nice wine and left feeling very happy. the bill was less than expected so that made for a happy boss. We all just loved the place. Service was also excellent.
