We were 2 couples on a Saturday night. The restaurant was not half full.
The food was only average, the portions are small. (In most dishes there were only 5/6 small pieces of meat ). In total we paid 20 pounds each person, including drinks, and we had a main each and shared 2 rice and 2 nan + poppadoms. So value for money I would say is not brilliant, its quite expensive for what you get. Their wine list states the house wine as being french, when I asked what kind, the house wine then disappeared and he brought other bottles (not knowing much about any of them). When we decided to take the house wine, it seems its not actually french at all and something very cheap which they charge 12 pounds for.
When we ordered the food, the waiter was very pushy to get us to order Dhansak (which nobody did), so not sure if they had a huge batch of it which needed using or something!
Overall, very average, would probably not return.
