Great value, great tastes, totally delivered, in a club-like, secret socity style room which I rather like. Fab oysters and tasty hoggett. Cant go far wrong at the £29 fixed price deal. recommended

“Fantastic!”
Reviewed April 12, 2013 via mobile

Corrigan's Mayfair is nicely tucked away, a short walk from park lane and the bustling marble arch area. We managed to get a reservation at short notice and it was one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. The service was attentive without being too pushy. Waiters and waitresses were polite and had good knowledge about the food and wine they were serving. The ambience was amazing as well, a romantic candlelight set up which was rustic and posh at the same time, yet being casual enough for a group of friends. Once the pianist started playing, I was sold.

The pre-starter complimentary canapés were delicate and tantalising, just what we needed to whet our appetite before we got started. The rose champagne, at £15.9 per glass, was beautifully light. The starters were carefully crafted and looked beautiful on our plates. I had the pork with apple sauce (can't actually remember what it was called) which was served superbly tender with an elegant piece of crackling on top. My friends had the crab ravioli and lobster starters, both of which were exquisite.

I had the lamb special for mains, which was melt-in-your-mouth tender, flowing with juices and drizzled with an delicious gravy. My friends had the beef cheek and the duck respectively. All three mains were simply excellent! The restaurant also provided us with complimentary petit fours at the end, which was a wonderful touch to the entire experience.

At £70+ per person, this meal didn't come cheap, but was worth every penny.

Overall, a highly recommended restaurant. Thank you for making my visit to London extra special!

“Great room and food, poor service but complaint dealt with very nicely.”

Great room and food, poor service but complaint was dealt with very nicely by the manager. I think there were some issues with bad amangement of tables in that a lot were being served at the same time but do think some of the service staff were not up to the job. Cocktails not great.

“Special occasion made even more memorable!”
Reviewed April 8, 2013

We had a brilliant dinner at Corrigan's on Saturday night in the Kitchen Library. We had booked the private room as we were celebrating a special 60th birthday and it did not disappoint. The room was fantastic and all the extra bits and pieces made it extra special, we all said it was a night we would remember for a long time. The food was spectacular and the service impeccable. Thank you to all the team!

I have eaten at Corrigan's on a number of occasions and each time I am impressed by the quality of the food and the service in the restaurant. The staff are always very helpful and very happy. The atmosphere is friendly and busy. This restaurant is a fantastic place to share an evening with good friends and a few bottles of wine.
