OK they do have a ramp from the two car parking spaces in front. Unfortunately it has such a selection of cambers both in the direction of travel and across it and is steep. It might be ok for a manual chair but not for motorised ones
On ascending my wife had to lean forward almost out of the chair to stop falling backwards.
On descent one front wheel seemed to leave the ground and as it came back down it pulled the chair round to nearly collide with the car parked in one of the spaces.
This happened every time we had to use it no matter how she approached the slope.
Also to get into the hotel from the pavement, on one side you have to negotiate a dangerously narrow section of pavement to be to get onto the side of this ramp. The pavement from the other side has no means of access at all without bumping off a curb to get to this ramp.

We stayed here in September 2013. The travelodge is close to the Tower of London and the river. It is next to the Tower Gateway station and three minutes' walk to the bus stop for the number 15 (which goes to Trafalgar Square via St.Paul's) and Tower Hill underground station. Boats to Westminster and Greenwich are within ten minutes' walk. The hotel room was basic (no cupboards, for example) but very clean and the bed was very comfortable. If you can sleep with the windows shut they are extremely effective at cutting out the traffic noise (we chose the road side of the hotel rather than the railway side). Breakfast was OK and a reasonable price - cooked or continental buffet was available. The staff are excellent - friendly, good humoured and, from what we saw, hard-working. If you are on a budget and want to avoid some of the high prices in London, this hotel is certainly an option for a couple of nights - for longer than that I would probably have needed a hotel with a lounge area for guests or more facilities.

Booked in a disabled room as a wheelchair user. To start positive the room was huge - probably too big - and the bathroom was fine (actually had a slightly higher toilet which is a definite plus). The room was clean and the bed was comfortable but I have one complaint about the bed, it was too low but fortunately the mattress had plenty bounce so could use that to help me get up. One warning though make sure the bed bases are pushed together properly cos mine werent and fortunately it was my partner who discovered this by falling through and not me as it would have been a serious problem then !!!!
The staff were friendly and polite.
Now the negative stuff - mainly to do with the food. On one night had to wait over 45 mins for a meal and when it came was very disappointed. Had ordered those little burgers in buns and when it eventually came it looked like it had been a big burger cooked (sort of) and then cut up to fit in a big bun which had also been cut up. Also the onion rings were cold. when complained about the wait was told there had been a lot of room service orders so was delay in kitchen but people who came in after us had received their food before us. Another warning make sure there is salt in the salt cellar and not pepper as did discover at my cost!!!

Dear James P, we would like to apologise for the wait you experienced in our bar café and the concerns you have raised. Our bar café staff are trained to prepare food to a great standard so it is regrettable that the service fell below the standards we would expect on this occasion. We’re sorry to learn of your disappointment and we’ll be sure to pass on your comments to the Hotel Management team so this can be addressed.

This Hotel represents the cheaper London hotel, situated in a very handy area close to the Tower of London.
Rooms are very basic but clean. Don't expect any of the little luxuries found in more upmarket hotels and hope that the windows open in the warmer seasons as air conditioning is not in evidence.
We found the reception staff to be very helpful but the services available are very limited.
There is a dining room for breakfast and dinner but there is much better value venues close by.
We had rooms on the street side so noise was not a major issue for us. The other side is next to train tracks and could be problematic
If you just need a clean place to sleep this would suit. Note that prices vary daily depending on demand so it would assist if you knew the correct number of days you intend to stay. We didn't and it ended up costing us..

Room Tip: Avoid the railway side

Stayed at Travelodge Central London Tower Bridge for a couple of nights on business last week. I've always felt that Travelodge had gone downmarket of recent years and become a real bargain basic product - used one of their roadside locations recently an it was truely awful. However, this site has benefited from a recent refurbishment and the bedroom was perfectly adequate for a couple of nights on business; excellent location within 5 minutes walk of Tower Hill tube, very comfy king size bed, good quality shower & good soundproofing - definately required as the hotel overlooks Fenchurch St station, but the city noise did not disturb. One of the 2 lifts was out of action for the whole stay and breakfast, although offering a reasonable selcetion, could have been better quality. Strange arrangement of having to queue up to be handed your breakfast plate & cutlery - bit odd and often lead to queues. Overall, not bad value for £100 per night in central London and would consider using again when in the area.

Stayed for two nights over a weekend (sat & sun) and only paid £40!!! Rooms are very clean & in great order! Can be a little noise if your room is the same side as the rail tracks. But get out and explore London and don't spend your time in the room!!!
Couldn't find anything to complain about.

6 of us stayed one night as we went to a wedding nearby. Reception staff very welcoming and helpful offered extra towels, tea coffee etc if required. Rooms clean, good size, no prob's with tv, plenty of towels. And the comfiest king size bed. Shower was fine. Some noise from trains but it did not bother us. There are a few bars nearby, Minories was a favourite of mine 20 years ago and is still popular. Location is good, near to Tower Hill tube.Lots of attractions nearby, The Tower (obviously) river trips, etc. We would stay here again. Great value for money.
