“Nice hotel, very small”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 12, 2013

The hotel was nice, and facilities were great, staff was fantastic with everything and great with the leaving of bags after check-out. The bed was probably the comfiest I had slept in all trip. Rooms were great, quiet, and very comfortable. Overall, if the rooms were a little larger this hotel would be close to perfect.

Comfortable and clean rooms all very funcitonal and nice with good staff on the front desk and free parking outside from 18:30 to 08:00 (only cost me £2.40 for 3 overnight stays). Throw in the fact that Earls Court tube is <5 minutes walk regardless of which way you turn and you have a convenient and functional hotel with reasonable prices for London (<£100).

Trip advisor

Do not stay at this hotel.
Despite a relatively clean room and free breakfast, they are not to be trusted.
Never in my entire hotel experience have I ever felt so violated by "hotel authority". Upon check in, I was told that my cousin and I might have to change rooms on our 5th (and last) night at the hotel.( We wondered why this was the case seeing as we booked our room and paid for it in advance!! ) The front desk told us that they would , of course, " let us know" if we would be changing rooms ahead of time.
Well, the morning came and we didn't hear a word. We ate our breakfast and left the hotel around 10:30am to go sight seeing.
When we got back around 7pm.. We walked down to our room and the door was not fully shut. We opened it slowly just to see that EVERYTHING was gone. Our bags , our clothes, our shoes, shower accessories, etc. Our room had essentially been ransacked and the worst part was that our safe was wide open and all of our money (hundreds of dollars) and passports were gone. We thought we had been ROBBED and my heart stopped.
We ran to the front desk to inquire and we were told BY THE MANAGER (of all people) that they had physically gone into our room and moved all of our things to another room. YES you heard me correctly. They said they "tried " to reach us on the day of at noon but after no reply they believed they had the right to come in. First of all, who stays in their hotel room until noon when they are in London on vacation????? Secondly, who tries to contact vacationers on the day of a move... And finally, why did they not move the new guests into the other room for one night only???

It made no sense.

The manager tried to explain but he did not have a clue. My passport and money was sitting on his desk for anyone to touch or take. He did not see why he was in the wrong which makes us even more frustrated. I have spoken to other hotel managers who state that thiS behaviour is NOT acceptable.
I hate to think that because my cousin and I are female that they felt they could take advantage of us.
Do not stay at this hotel.

Stayed for one short night on this hotel and it had everything we needed.

Comfy bed, new bathroom, quiet neighbourhood, tv with a few channels and everything was clean!

Although the service could have been better once we had checked out and came for our bags. They were sort of "finished with us" at that stage. No good bye, no thank you.

If you are considering this hotel, it can be a good find at a low price. Even for longer stays.

I was pleasantly surprised by The Boltons hotel. From the street the hotel looks stylish and modern. This continues throughout this bijou hotel. Rooms are small but immaculate and clean. Everything looks new so I'm assuming that it has recently been modernised. We opted for the double executive room that came with a comfy king sized bed, iPod dock and the usual tea/coffee, safe, a/c, hair dryer etc. Staff from reception to the breakfast room were extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast room was small but we never had any issue with a table. The breakfast was excellent. Location is perfect, 5 mins from Earls Court tube station and plenty of bars and restaurants in close vicinity. If you like Thai food try Addies on the high street - great food. The hotel is on a side street so close enough to the hustle and bustle but without the noise. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be returning.

Lovely rooms a bit on the small side but clean modern and everything you need. ideal for the tube as its just at the end of the road. Plenty of places to eat and if you don't mind walking you can walk to Kensington high street. Would definitely book again

I usually hate staying in basement rooms but actually this one was fine - there was a window with natural light. The room was small but immaculate and quiet (my usual complain about London accommodation is noise). The location near Earls court tube was convenient and there are many well priced eating places nearby. I would stay again.
