Having shopped in most areas of the US and Canada,we had high expectations.. Boy were we disappointed. We received horrible service in several stores. The staff at Louis Vuitton were bad,we actually went and our Vuitton items at Harrodsburg instead. Banana Republic has very apathetic staff and when we complained, they could care less. We decided not to shop there. The Rest of the stores, especially Burberry, we're great. Ollie at Burberry is a superstar and made our shopping experience great. Great food choice s and the service everywhere else was great. We were there everyday for seven days,it was four minutes from our hotel. If you are hitting a mall anywhere, this would be it. Very clean.

Living just 40 minutes drive west of London, we often enjoy venturing into the west end at the weekend. From Westfield Shopping Centre, you can park the car for only £8 for the whole day and then either enjoy the shopping on offer at Westfield and/or hop into town on the central line, which is conveniently located immediately next to the shopping centre. Westfield has much to offer with a huge variety of shops and eateries - our favourite is Cafe Concerto for lunch - and a fantastically modern digital Vue cinema on the top floor for the evening's entertainment. When we are venturing into the west end for the theatre, we normally park at Westfield and take the tube. Very convenient. Although we're not really into the events going on in the shopping centre, there are many of them, including live music, fashion shows and exhibitions of various kinds. This all makes for a fun and relaxed worry-free Saturday afternoon.

I only visited Westfield Shopping Centre by chance recently but I am very pleased that I did. I was visiting London for a wedding & staying at the Hilton on Holland Park Avenue. After a long journey my wife & I were looking for somewhere for cheap late lunch. After looking at the internet it seemed Westfield offered a good range & it was a short walk from the hotel.

Apart from the food court there is a seemingly endless choice of restaurants to suit all budgets & tastes. We went to Byron Burgers for lunch (excellent burgers) & then spent a couple of hours browsing the shops. There are plenty of recognisable high street names like John Lewis, Boots, Debenhams etc.. but also many specialist retailers like Prada, Gucci, Apple, Church Shoes - the list goes on & on.

There are also two very long terraces of restaurants offering choices ranging from steak, fish, Lebanese, Mexican, Thai, Japanese & so on. We returned for an evening meal at the Cabana Brazilian BBQ which was also excellent. Whether you are out shopping or looking for a decent choice of restaurants Westfield fits the bill.
