We dined here as a family while in London. The food and service was great. The atmosphere is very trendy. We'd definitely return.

The restaurant had a great ambience, with a lovely patio perfect for a summer night. The food we great, we split the risotto and it was really good! Service was great. Prices a little higher than expected.

We were here on that very hot Monday in early July. We looked around Nova and basically took a table in a restaurant (outside) that was in the shade - there was not much discussion or consideration of food on offer. So, we took a table and offered the a la carte (not sure if we should have had the set menu offered too?) So eventually we chose a small plate (for me) and a pizza blanca for he. I had pink lady apple, little gem, Gorgonzola dolce cream, candied walnuts and anchovy salad (£10). He had the pizza topped with Mozzarella, smoked pancetta, Copper Maran egg yolk, black
pepper, confit Jersey potato. So - mine; nice bowl, well presented - loved the crisped lettuces leaves and the cream was nice, the walnuts crunchy. Not sure how much apple or anchovy i had (had to search) but definitely walnuts outnumbered both. Medium happy; hot day with bowl of salad and glass of wine. Wine - £11 for 175 mil Garganega, Soave, Castelcerino Filippi, Veneto, (£12.50) - and a beer. Pizza, well - the knives looked nice but they were so bendy and flexible he was less than impressed at having to tear his food apart (and it was not a suitable occasion for hands as we were 'dressed' we had just come from a meeting in the Palace of Westminster. Sir only eat half the food, got seriously fed up. Skipped pudding. Went for single expresso. I don't think I have ever been served a single expresso in a tea cup, of that size, the coffee was lost (about a table spoon size) in the china - very different and gone in a mouthful. Service - we could probably have done better ourselves, it was nonchalant. We will return....to Nova, to Hai Cenato. No.

We ate here before seeing a play. Most people at our time , were also seeing plays so we figured the restaurant would accommodate. We also let the waiter know our schedule when we first sat.

My friends cocktail took 35 minutes to arrive. He had to ask twice for it. All the tables around who sat after us revived cocktails. When it arrived, the waiter did not even apologize. It was obvious he forgot to put it in, and an apology would have helped.

Meanwhile, my husband ordered risotto to start. His came out 15 minutes after all the tables around us did. We had to ask for our pizza twice because it was time for us to leave and had to eat in 5 minutes.

I said something to the manager, and she said she “ would look into it”. In other words, she didn’t care either.

Too bad the service was so terrible, because the food and atmosphere were decent.

We enjoyed our food - the pizza and garlic bread were super delicious but I wouldn’t rush back because the service was so miserable.
