First time in this p,ace and told really romantic .Not sure it is but the staff superbly efficient and food good .Yes champagne button a bit of fun but £. 16 for a glass of rose champagne plus service felt a bit strong .Best dish the fish pie one of the nicest I have eaten and half the price of a fairly average bit of fish .Loved the buzzy atmosphere and will be back with friends .

Loved it. Right from the courteous welcome and intro to the well appointed private dining room to the fabulous dessert wine to finish.

Knowledgeable staff and not as "Russian" as I was expecting with the exceptional beef wellington in its perfect pastry an example of how it leans heavily on more traditional fayre.

My colleagues and guests piled in to the bubbly and enjoyed the novelty of the "press for champagne" button, but not being a fizz lover myself, I ploughed through the wine list with glee, enjoying a glass of white burgundy before sharing a bottle of provencal rosé, and then a stellar bottle of Pesquera reserva with the beef. the star of the show though was the incredible vin de constance dessert wine. OMG, What an amazing wine! If you visit, just try it.

Came here for a celebration meal and I have to be fair and say I had a lovely evening with great food and lovely cocktails. Service was good and the restaurant decor was quirky yet classy. However, no matter how good the food was I couldn't help feeling ripped off! I got the filet mignon at £35 which was minuscule ! £6.50 for cheap McDonald's style chips and £6 for 'sautéed Spring greens' which turned out to be seasoned chopped cabbage! Huge mark up on everything. The beef wellington was a ridiculous £44 per person! I've been to many expensive restaurants and don't mind paying out for good food but I really felt like Bob Bob Ricards took it too far with their prices and wouldn't return. Go to The Ivy instead !

First impression is you have arrived somewhere special and a little bit different. You could be in a scene from Gatsby.
The staff are friendly and helpful. But we went on a Saturday and it was very busy and we felt the staff were over stretched and forgot a couple of things. And we waited for drinks. However the cocktails were very good my personal favourite was the raspberry Collins it was delicious. (summer in a glass).
The starters were excellent the crab was really good, full of fresh flavours.
I had the chicken Kiev which was very average and my husbands lamb was continually undercooked for him he sent it back twice. My parents both had the chicken pie which they enjoyed but far too much tarragon in it for my taste. We were a table of 8 so maybe it was just a case of the service suffers with bigger parties.

The price was fair and not over the top for the heart of london.
