This place is not a restaurant - it is a dive. It is literally an underground tacky cocktail bar.
We had a booking at 8pm. However, as the restaurant (and I say that in the loosest sense) only had one menu, we had to wait for the other three groups to finish with it before the wine stained item was passed down to us.
The knee height tables and padded wobbly stools made eating a real balancing act. However, the portion sizes were so small that the 'eating' part of this didn't take long anyway.
As for atmosphere, there was none. The restaurant itself is tiny and uncomfortable. The toilets seemed to be an after thought so there was a plastic partition at the end of the alcove where they had been added in.
If you had come to this cocktail bar (it's really NOT a restaurant) and ordered the food as bar snacks, you would probably be quite happy. However, we thought we were going to a restaurant. I would expect to sit at a table and eat calmly with decent sized portions. The portions were too small, and the price of drinks unreal. A small bottle of beer £5 and cocktails £10. They didn't even serve green tea!
We ordered a sharing platter which contained pretty good sushi, some chicken skewers and edemame beans. The sushi was ok. We also ordered the baby squid, soft shell crab and monk fish. All of it was ok and I would be happy with dishes if it wasn't so tainted by the small portion size, terrible service and unbelievable venue.
There are no positives to this underground bar and I would not recommend it to anyone.
