i had Falafel with Pitta bread, Tahini and salad. The Falafel was tasteless and very dry.and the Pitta bread was inedible. My friend had vegetable soup which she described as tasting very watery. For this poor meal we waited over 30 mins after ordering before the meal was actually served up.I shall not be returning!

Note to self.
Must read reviews before entering anywhere even a cafe in Golders Green.
Very confused by the interior, is it a cafe or is it a charity shop ?
Can I assure you it doesn't work as either.
Very pleasant Iranian waitress who made it slightly bearable, prices are out to Lunch, literally.
Ordered a Shukshouka, it took a while which is a good sign but when it came out on a pan with two wedges of bread and the contents of a can of tomato puree dumped into it.....I was not impressed at all.
Ate the bread and the egg bits left over 80% of the dish as it was just not any good.
Table cleared by manager, who didn't comment on me leaving almost all of the dish.
Waste of time & effort, left hungry and rather disappointed
Not recommended

Visited last year and liked the cafe but it seems that it is now run by JAMI themselves - the mental health charity and what a difference!! Such a great concept and staff who couldn’t do enough to help. I had delicious porridge and my friend had the scrambled eggs on sourdough with salmon and avocado - everything well presented and a really good cappuccino too. Felt like a local venture that we wanted to support. A tasty breakfast and the profits go towards helping a great cause....win win! I’ll be back soon!

The place is very well decorated and has a nice feel to it. Staff are friendly and the food is fresh and very tasty. The music is calming and seats are comfortable. We will visit again.
