thought this hotel was really cheap for excellent location, but turned out there were lots of much better value hotels in the area. room was tiny, was like being in a very small touring caravan, only access to bed on one side so was really a single when supposed to be double,no window, noisy air con with bright light made it very difficult to sleep, had to pay £15 extra for a sensible check out time, tv was extra if u wanted to watch it, only one pillow very annoying as well. not good value and definately not for anyone who is claustrophobic!

We knew the room would be small, it was tiny. But for a couple of nights at the price it's a good option - particularly if you are travelling alone. Location is right on, room was clean and staff friendly enough. Don't expect any extras.

Stayed for 5 nights in May 2010.It seems the prices can vary considerably. We paid 30 pounds per night but noticed a price on the door stating 59 pounds. Glad we didn't pay that much. We don't expect alot when travelling budget and the room size was no surprise. Hallways, staircase and rooms very 'squeezy'. Had to sleep with aircon on all night one night because of a horrible 'portaloo' smell. Another night there was prolonged repeated thumping overhead at midnight. Convenient enough but personally found the Paddington vibe dour. Not being the sort to stay out late at night we paid extra for cable tv. They were unable to provide this service and promised to refund our money but could not do so on the spot. We've never seen our refund despite numerous emails. The automated email response is useless and our communications directly with the hotel have been totally ignored. This carelessness in handling problems diminishes any benefits.

It's obviously very budget accommadation. We stayed for one Saturday night in July as we were on a budget and most places were expensive as it is peak season. We had a smal room without a window. These rooms are extremely small. It's probably more suitable for one person staying on their own but when there are two of you, it is difficult to even move past each other in the very confined space. The 'pod' style, toilet/shower/sink is also very small, but functional. I am 6 feet 1'' and there was not enough room for me in the bed which is lodged between two walls. We heard no voices from adjoining rooms however the sound of adjacent doors opening and closing was very loud. The hotel is well placed for Paddington Rail and Underground stations being a 5 minute walk. In summary, I would consider the hotel only as a budget option for a solo traveller.

EasyHotel gives you precisely what you pay for and nothing more: four walls, covered in peachy-orange paint, a tiny bathroom, and a bed. I happen to like small hotel rooms. But there's a good way to do small and a host of bad ways. EasyHotel was a textbook lesson in the latter. Small, if it's going to work, needs intelligent design, clever use of space, nice surfaces, modular potential. This had none of that. This is design FAIL. Even as someone who likes small rooms, I would not stay here again.

Staff, however, was amazing. They were very helpful and friendly and ever encounter. The neighborhood is a bit rough. Travel connections are super-convenient though.
