Once again this indigo did not fail to disappoint. Despite being Ambassador IHG member our room profile was not recognised and were given a room on front. Personally if you want a quiet night I would not stay here as if you get a room on the front the noise from the road is disturbing in spite of the ear plugs provided.
I asked for an alarm call as I had a plane to catch early next morning, but no alarm call came. Fortunately as this has happened at this hotel once before I had set my phone alarm too as I could not rely on them.
On checking out the receptionist then demanded my credit card twice and tried to charge me for the room, producing a bill, even though it had been booked on loyalty points. There is no point complaining as the manager does not return phone calls nor replied to emails sent in April.
Only reason for staying here is convenience to Paddington. Out of choice I would stay at Crowne Plaza at Blackfriars, a fantastic hotel in my opinion and one that knows how to respectfully honour their IHG member guests.More
